Bookish is a not for profit bookstore in Malakoff, Texas that retails a wide range of new and gently used books. This includes fiction, non-fiction, business, science, children's, hobbies, collecting, and other types of books. Bookish provides a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere to encourage reading and gathering. Bookish is owned by Jen Sherman, who is a life long reader and book lover. Jen has been a book reviewer and blogger for the last 2 years on her website, as well as her Instagram page, The Bookish Blonde. The mission of Bookish is to promote reading and literacy to the Cedar Creek area by providing new and used books at discounted prices.
Great spot for recycled books and new. Beautiful collection of vintage and antique books, some even hand bound. Cute room in the back to rent out and even have coffee. MUST STOP if I you like books, beautiful historical buildings, coffee, good company or just a cool place to hang and do a puzzle.

What a perfect little book store. So execited and unexpected when I came back for a home town visit! I love the places to read and enjoy some quiet time.
