I’ve given Duett’s my business and my trust for 15 years and I am deeply disappointed to report that Rick, an employee there, scammed me. They all know I’m a teacher who has struggled with troublesome cars for years. He saw my relief when I finally was in a situation where I could afford a better vehicle and slyly suggested I purchase his daughter-in-law’s car he was selling through Duett’s, using my trust of their establishment to sell me a scam. Four short months later, three separate mechanics tell me the vehicle has timing AND transmission issues, and that there’s absolutely no way Rick did not know the vehicle needed thousands of dollars of repair when he sold it to me. The insult to this injury? Rick can’t even fix the issues to make this right. First he tried to blame other people, which all 3 mechanics told me was a lie, and then he told me Duett’s doesn’t fix these kinds of issues. Sorry Duett’s family, but I cannot return to your place of business while he still works there. Manor people and surrounding areas, be wary of trusting Duett’s at this time.
UPDATE:
I find it interesting that instead of holding their own employee accountable for using his position behind their front desk to sell their customers his con man cars, they told me not to associate what he did with their business. Duett’s family, you are the ones employing a con man behind your business’ front desk - a position that creates bills of sale and takes people’s money; and you and allow him to offer your customers his con-man cars while sitting behind that desk. A trustworthy business would address that with their employee, not their customer.

I’ve had several services done here and it’s always a good experience. I trust Mr Duett. There have been times I asked for a specific service and instead of just saying “sure, here’s the bill”, he double checks if my car actually needs it and steers me in a better direction if it doesn’t. That’s the type of honesty you need in a mechanic!

I cannot recommend a better tire / car repair place. The employees and mechanics are friendly, honest & knowledgeable. We go there for all our vehicle repairs & maintenance work. Fair notice, my family has known the Duetts a long time and my uncle was even a longtime employee himself. Still I have never seen a better place for tire & car repair. Honest, fair, knowledgeable & a great price. They have always had our business and will continue to for as long as we are here.

I noticed my tire was rapidly leaking air on a road trip after having to fill it up twice within 10 minutes, so I called a local shop, Duett’s Tire Service. The office lady answered the phone promptly and gave me some prices for used and new tires so I drove right over to the shop. I thought I might need a new tire but when I arrived, the mechanics removed the affected tire and identified the problem. It was my tire valve stem that cracked and was leaking air out rapidly. They showed me the broken one and replaced it with a shiny new one while also ensuring it was good to go before putting the tire back onto my car. I recommend this tire shop to anyone. It was affordable. They are good at communicating, honest, and qualified to address your tire concerns. I finished my 4 hour road trip thanks to Duett’s Tire Service.

This place is great. Mom n pop owned instead of a franchise. Their prices are good, staffs knowledgeable and personable. I'm my line of work, time is money and their efficiency is very helpful.

Do not let the young guy work on your wheels, he will ruin your lugs and they will take no responsibility for it. I went back to advise him of the damage that he cause and his dad said we can't do anything for you. I told him I'd really didn't expect for him to do anything, I just thought I'd let him know. He said thank you and sent me on my way. They tightened my lugs using their air gun, not a torque wrench like all manufacturers recommend.
