Not sure how i felt about my experience here, but i do think i need to share it. The vet techs and receptionist were all GREAT and very sweet, my issue began right when Dr. Patel came in to talk to my boyfriend and I about my cat and what was wrong with her. The 1st thing the doctor asked us was “do we know medical terms?” My boyfriend and i just stared at each other, because obviously we don’t know and it’d be nice to be told in simple terms right off the bat, what’s wrong with my cat. No human HAS TO know medical terms to get a simple explanation on the issue. We looked past this, but hours later once it was time to put my cat down and say goodbye.. Dr. Patel came in all happy and preppy, didn’t give us much more time with my cat & quickly put her down. After awkwardly standing there watching me cry over my cat, she proceeds to “play a joke” on one of the vet techs.. they have a beeper to call for assistance and she hit the button and a vet tech came to the room just for dr. Patel to say “haha tricked you” and the vet tech awkwardly smiled and walked away. I’ve never been in such an awkward situation during one of the hardest times of my life. Lastly, she scooped up my cat and kinda just threw her over her shoulder.. a bit painful to watch, but i didn’t have it in me to say anything as i just lost my bestfriend. Please be considerate to people during these times, playing a “joke” was highly unprofessional and i wont suggest this place to anyone due to Dr. Patel who works There.

These guys are only out for the money. The girls at the front desk are cute and sweet but they're just the set up for the "closer". The finance lady that comes in and tells you the cost of your visit is gonna be about 10x what it should be! $10 meds that they charge $100 for. $100 for an E collar and $50 for GAUZE!!? Seriously?? Plus, they can't work on a large animal without sedating them. They said it's because my dog was "large and has too much anxiety". lol. Very ironic because the exact moment she said that, my dog laid his big head on her foot, as to try and take a nap. Get outta here. I'll never go back.

Visit was very long. I was there 6 hrs for them to contact poison control and do bloodwork. I believe they try to upsale you on meds not needed. I was told my dog needed meds for vomit. She had gone 10 hrs w/o vomit. Also fluids under the skin to flush system. For my understanding, this is done to help hydrate. Not a vet here, but I would think to flush the system after ingesting something making her sick would be oral to wash it out and not under the skin. I was asked if I wanted to leave her hospitalized, when she clearly did not need it. She came out greeting everyone. I also did not care for Vet not doing the check up in the room with me. My dog was taken to another room for employees only where she stayed for the 6 hrs we were there. I would say beware! Staff was very friendly and place was clean. My dog was also assessed immediately after arrival for urgency.

Brought my dog here cause he swallowed a bone. They said our systems are down when we were doing paperwork. My wife and I thought they were talking about computer systems at front desk. They rushed to see my dog and do the Dr. exam then came in and started going over prices. Office visit $145 and recommended X-ray. No problem but then said they can’t do the X-ray cause there system is down. Basically we can leave our dog or wait til the system is back up. At this point I’m very upset cause why did they even accept us if there system was down. Basically you’re paying $145 because the Dr. did their exam but can’t do anything recommend. ?? I will drive somewhere else if I ever need an emergency vet!!

My family and I were traveling from out of town over the Christmas holidays and my 13 year bichon frise had some breathing issues thru the week. I had taken him to this emergency clinic. Upon arrival he was promptly put into an oxygen cage. Dr. Patel advised that he need to be monitored and he was provided medications in ER. By afternoon he took a nose dive and the doctor changed his meds to hourly. After 12 hours he was stabilized and made it back from certain heart failure. Dr Patel was outstanding with fantastic experience in cardio and we owe her and the staff for saving Milo. She was very thorough and explained in layman’s terms his condition and provided specific directions to get him back to a manageable life. Thank you!

They greeted us right away. My golden wasn't acting right and had sores on her hind foot. They took her right back to take care of her. We love them at Animal Emergency Hospital of Mansfield. They took good care of us when we had told put our Irish Setter to sleep because of cancer. They were so kind and gentle with her and us. I will always take my babies to them for emergencies.

Animal Emergency Hospital of Mansfield is outstanding. All of the employees there are very nice, professional and caring. We lost our best friend Bi, our companion for 12 years. I can’t say enough to let pet owner know what a great staff is at this animal hospital. Thank you so much for all you did to help Bo.

Great service. My husband took our dog Saturday morning after he hurt his hip and they took care of him as if he was their own. It's hard to find people who care and don't treat you like a burden even being there. I will be recommending them to EVERYONE!!! Thank you Dr.Patel for taking such great care of my fur baby

Thank you guys so much for taking care of my furbaby yesterday Dec 31, 2023. We were visiting from Oklahoma and was told about this place. I’m always so weary, about taking my baby to places like this but yall made me believe that there are some amazing emergency places out there that care so much for your baby. He was having issues with one of his eyes and not able to open it and it was getting worst before my husband and nephew took my baby to yall. Yall got him taken care of quickly. My husband raved that the staff was amazing and compassionate to my baby and others. He raved at how well yall had things together. My furbaby Howie is my life. We cant thank yall enough for being so compassionate and Amazing to my baby. We can’t tell yall how much I we appreciate everything yall have done for my baby. My husband said everyone was so compassionate and knowledgeable.

I took my cat here several months ago and I did not like the service they gave me. They left me and my cat alone for hours as her bladder filled with blood. My cat was in pain and I ended up having to make her wait another day because this place did not want to do her surgery. However, what happened today made me write this post. I watched a dog get run over, got the dog in my car, and tried to bring him here because it was the closest animal hospital. They refused to take the dog because it did not belong to me and I could not get in contact with the owner at the time. They sent me to a different place and the dog passed in my backseat on the way there. If they actually cared about the animals and not the money they would treat them all very differently. That dog did not need to die in my car, and could have at least gotten some pain management from them. I would have paid.

I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. They have treated two of my furkids, and the experiences were very positive. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and very thorough. There is a genuine feeling of compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Brittany King.

Came in at 5am because my dog was vomiting and had diarrhea. I was the only person in the waiting room yet I had to wait nearly four hours for anyone to give me an update on my dog. Afterwards, they then proceeded to tell me it would be $3,000 to treat her. Do not recommend!!!
