Staff are always extremely helpful, and the items are consistently in their proper places—very nice and neat. It’s a great department store. Even though it’s a bit of a drive from my residence, it’s definitely worth it. Holiday hours are excellent too. Check it out early—they open at 7 a.m., and there are no crowds!

We just move here in Mansfield from NC and decided to go to belk to use my gift card. The cashier wasn’t friendly, seems like she don’t wanna help us at all, like she don’t like her job, she could use a good training or a little smile at least! Went to Kohl’s after theyre very friendly and super nice. I usually like belk but this one is soo bad.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS RACIST STORE.
While I was shopping, the store manager and regional associate followed every movement I made. Every time I looked up, they were standing in my view. The 3rd time I notice their presence, the store manager was looking in my direction. I walked a couple feet to a section that was covered by a wall, 1 minute later, the store manager and regional associate are walking down the pathway toward me - I would guess because I was no longer in their view.
I was a store manager, I know their habits/behaviors, those ladies were profiling me. PERIOD.
Of course the associates will DENY that they were profiling me but WATCH THE CAMERAS BETWEEN 5:30p - 6p on 11/06/25, at the home/kitchen equipment section. I had curly hair, black pants, gray shirt, African American race - watching those cameras will clear those associates name of any wrong doing. I want someone to explain to me why every time I moved, they moved. Anyway, I will take my money to KOHLS. KOHLS has the same product/pricing and I don’t have to worry about racism.
Side note - I also asked for a full size cart but the store manager said they only have the smaller carts, they don’t carry full size - although I seen shoppers with full size carts.
AS YOU CAN TELL, I AM PISSED.

Store posted said 8 PM close and I show up at 7. Employees counting money, standing there avoiding eye contact, and walking away when I knocked. Either post new signs or get new employees.

Have enjoyed Belk products for years. However, the Mansfield location seems to be undersupported, under managed, or under employed. 10 a.m. opening and many sections look completely disheveled. Jeans are everywhere but folded in their proper place. Lucky, TR, Wonderly,
