Our 1.5 year experience there had its fair share of ups and downs but mostly up. Leadership was responsive to the concerns I had. Teachers tried their best to meet all expectations but some had a passion and fair amount of training for the job and some didn’t-and that’s just the truth. Ultimately, I decided to withdraw my child and place her in a Montessori environment which met our needs better at the time. I recently called to ask about drop in care and never heard back from Management. I guess my expectations and accountability efforts are just too much to handle. So be warned that enrollment quotas are very political and not actually true. If they like, there’s a space. If not, good riddance. Thankfully there are other qualified centers in the area.

I know people who have brought their kids here and they do not follow the curriculum that is put in place and hassle you if you try to leave without a 2 weeks notice. Stay away.

When I came in for my tour I was told “healthcare” workers get a percentage off of their child’s tuition. I emailed the school and asked how much my child’s tuition would be with the discount and was there anything they needed from me to verify I was a health worker and I was told to email them my ID. I then was shared my new rate. Fast forward to the first day I dropped off my son (today) & I am being told that if I am not a “First Responder or a Nurse” then that discount does not apply. That is very sad to hear because you should not advertise “healthcare” workers if you do not mean ALL of healthcare. Also it was made to seem as though my part in healthcare wasn’t good enough. Being a receptionist in labor and delivery at UTSOUTHWESTERN. I am the first person people see, they tell me there problems whether that be, there to deliver, high blood pressure, bleeding, D&C, Cerclage, miscarriage, or an emergency. I am writing this review to hopefully share some insight that my jobs important too & so many others in the healthcare field because without the little people, the higher ups can’t do their job’s.Hopefully future communication will be better than this.

We’ve been here for a month and I can honestly say I love the communication. The technology they provide to not only see my child but also to receive updates on her daily activities has been such relief. The staff is friendly and very organized. I look forward to our time here.

My 2-year-old son was accidentally locked in the bathroom in the classroom for a long period of time. There were 3 teachers in his classroom that didn’t see him go in there… 3! A teacher closed the door on him and he could not get out. He was completely unaccounted for. They didn’t even know he was missing. We had only attended the daycare 11 days total and this happened. Not to mention, I walked in to pick up my son and saw teachers screaming at the other toddlers on multiple occasions. My son was traumatized by this bathroom incident and was able to verbalize that he was scared at school. It broke my heart. As a parent, the most important thing to me is that my child is safe and well-cared for. They failed to do this at Children’s Lighthouse. When we decided that we were not going back to the daycare after being locked in a bathroom, their response to me was that I needed to put in a two week notice. Absolutely not. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone. They had to file a report against their license because of the danger they put my child in. I am extremely disappointed.

Staff is very pleasant and they provide great care and interactive schedule for the children. Another plus is that School is also always clean and they have many ways to keep the parents informed and involved.

Of all the daycares we’ve been to, this was by far our favorite and we’re sad to have moved away! The facility itself was very clean and modern, the rooms well equipped with toys and play areas, and the staff was so friendly! This is the only school where our child asked for his teacher outside of school, he just loved her so much! This is definitely the best daycare in the Mansfield area.

My husband and I love Children’s lighthouse in Mansfield. We were always nervous about sending our daughter to daycare but since day one we have always felt safe here. They all know her name and greet her when she comes in. They keep us informed 24/7 on illnesses reported, events happening, and respond timely to any concerns we may have. Our daughter has been going here for almost a year and she kicks and yells excitedly when I walk her in (she’s 1) and she always reaches for her teachers which truly makes me so happy because I know she feels comfortable with them. Honestly, I just couldn’t be more happier with this daycare!! I know they truly care about our kiddos!

My family and I have enjoyed Children Lighthouse of Mansfield. My son has been attending for 3 years. He has learned so much and continues to learn. We enjoy seeing his growth in writing and reading. The teachers and staff are great.

We were at Children’s Lighthouse a little less than a year but the staff felt like family in that short amount of time. They were attentive and communicative about my children which made the experience extremely comforting as a first time mom and made the decision to enroll our second a no brainer. We ended up switching centers to be closer to home but will miss the teachers and staff dearly!

My kids love going to this school and are excited to get into the car every day. CLH has an excellent curriculum and the teachers seem to really love what they are doing. I feel like there has been less turnover at this school than others we have attended.
