Love this place. I've gone to a baby shower here, and my daughter takes ballet classes. The staff is always friendly and the building is clean.

This was our first year homeschooling. When I came across the classes offered by the MAC , I was so excited to enroll my child. He participated in classes during the fall of 2024. This year, I signed him up again because he really enjoyed attending the nature class—it was something he looked forward to each week.
The first six classes were with Ms. Lauren, who was a super sweet instructor. My toddler and I stayed during the classes a few times, and there was never an issue with that.
During the second-to-last class, I stayed again. The class went on a hike with Ms. Amy. After the hike, the students met with Tiffany Chrzanowski (Nature Education Supervisor) to observe and learn about animals that had been brought in for the class that day. As the kids sat in a circle learning about the animals, my toddler and I were walking toward the group to join my son, who is part of the class. At that moment, Tiffany very loudly and rude told me that the class was only for homeschool nature members. We weren’t doing anything disruptive—just walking to join my son. What made the situation more upsetting was that, just a few minutes later, another parent and their toddler arrived, and Tiffany didn’t say anything to them. After the class, I asked Tiffany if there was a particular reason she didn’t say anything to the other parent. Her response was that it’s a drop-off class and that parents aren’t allowed. However, nowhere in the program description does it state that parents are not allowed to stay during class. Because of this experience, I will no longer be signing up for any future classes. I would also like to add that the parent that she didn’t say anything to was a different race than I was.

Our class had a field trip with a picnic at Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park. The tour guides were great. They were very patient and friendly sharing lots of good information with our students. The only issues we had was another group took over the tables where we were supposed to have our picnic. We found tables in another area, but they were not near each other. I was thankful I had wonderful patient parents with me to help. Since we are on a schedule I would like to know how we could have the table reserved in the future at the end of our tour so this does not happen again. Other than the picnic table issue the students had a great time.

I rented a park pavilion and had a really great experience! Booking was super easy. I had to extend my booking, and it was taken care of quickly and easily. Eric, from the parks dept was there when we got there. He went above and beyond to provide very helpful pavilion rental details to me, and ensure the area was clean and ready to go, since this was my first time renting anything. It was a great experience and I highly recommend renting facilities with Mansfield Activities Center!

Really great facility. Merging rooms, space for indoor sports. Little league basketball was in play when I was there so adorable.
