Steer clear of these crooks. They will take your money in the blink of an eye without even having your consent. I asked for an extra payment of 15k, and somehow they found a way to charge me an over $100 fee (133.72 USD). I am upset with these individuals. Stay away.

I am a Texas Trust Credit Union member and I refinanced my personal loan through them. Things went so well with my personal loan that I decided to refinance my auto loan here as well. The application process was pretty smooth just like the first time however my loan officer was horrible. His name was Russell F. I know his last name but will not disclose it for his privacy. Russell was nice over the phone all the way up until my application came back approved and I had questions about the loan terms. My interest rate was less than what it is now and the loan length was exactly the same but the monthly payment amount was higher. When I asked questions about this Russell got defensive, rude and blunt the remainder of the call. I wasn’t rude to him nor did I have a rude or argumentative tone I just simply wanted to understand why the payment was higher. Russell suggested to send me the paperwork through email, I agreed however as I suspected he never sent them. I called back because I really wanted to refinance here. I spoke with someone else and she confirmed a different monthly payment than what Russell told me, it was lower like it should have been. I went ahead and had the loan processed. I received my paperwork to sign and I noticed I couldn’t decline the GAP coverage. The option to sign was only on the line where I would be agreeing to the coverage, not only that but there were two pages of the exact same GAP coverage paperwork both with only the agree line available for signature. I tried to call Russell back directly and he was unavailable multiple times. I called the main line to get help from someone else and they sent me back to him AFTER SPEAKING WITH HIM and again he was unavailable after the transfer. At this point I can only assume he didn’t want to take my call so I called back and requested a supervisor but of course the supervisor was also not available. This is extremely discouraging and frustrating. I declined the paperwork and I will be refinancing elsewhere. I will also be refinancing my personal loan and moving away from Texas Trust. I have lost all confidence in this business

Texas Trust declined a transaction in my daughter's college town that also messed up my account, both accounts, of which, had plenty of money in them to buy a Sonic meal. I have been on hold for 51 minutes and counting, so I can settle my account and use MY money again!!

I had a great time at this branch of Texas Trust. Thanks to Mia Nicholson's support, I was able to have a very smooth experience. I would highly recommend this branch for all your credit union needs!

You are better off banking somewhere else if this isn't ur primary bank. This credit union is terrible at communication you will sign this constantly online to have them magically not be valid after a couple months. They are quick to charge fees you are better off banking with chase.

I have been with this bank for a long time and I absolutely love it! They have always been super friendly and helpful. Last time I was in, the branch manager came and helped me directly! That is the hometown feel I like when I walk into my bank. I would definitely recommend Texas Trust Credit Union to anyone!!

The only reason I considered using this CU was the fact that the rates were so low. However, if I would have read these reviews before I applied I would never have used Texas Trust regardless of the low rates. The level of incompetence and neglect was and is absolutely in sane, it took 2 months to complete a simple car loan due to the loan officer going on vacation and refusing to get back to us, then having to redo the documents multiple times with several errors before we could sign. Then they forgot to actually fund the loan, we had to call them back multiple times and it took several days to get our loan officer to call us back. We had to do all the leg work because these processors and loan officers are incompetent and the process is a complete failure. It's possible that they broke several lending laws during this process with a lack of communication and disclosure, I am probably not the only one experiencing these failures. I asked to be contacted by a manager today, they said it could be a week or so before they call me back. Its not worth the pain of working with these people, don't use Texas Trust CU, its not worth it!!! Clearly, there is a leadership problem with in this organization!

Not impressed the physical quality of their cards are TRASH I've replaced 3 since 2017 for falling apart, or not working within months of replacing them. Also they failed to tell me when replacing my card last time that Mastercard has an ABU in place that automatically updates your cards across all platforms. I never signed anything about this nor was I informed until over $400 later when my card was being ran for multiple accounts I figured I didn't need to update the info on because I no longer wanted to do business with them. So thanks for that TTCU. Wish I could say that was the only time y'all stole from me or had another company dip up in my pockets over something y'all failed to disclose but it's not. Y'all literally manipulated me into closing my free childhood account by refusing to show me where my funds were going when I'd have zero transactions on the account since my last deposit yet my money was CONSTANTLY disappearing. Sounds like y'all were taking plays out of Wells Fargo's book with that one.

Hello very disappointed I have tried all day to get a hold of someone in the commercial lending department and have not heard back from anyone. I have left multiple calls and texts with Scott Meigis. I have also send an email to the support email and left a message with the general commercial lending voicemail. Very frustrating. They seem to not want any business

I have seen the quality of service of Texas Trust Credit Union decrease steadily in the last 5 years. I am not sure why. I recently tried to use my debit card and the ATM at the branch on Bowen and Park Row was not working. Also, when you call the Texas Trust phone number on the website to speak to someone about your debit card being declined, a third-party answers you and they will not give you any useful information. I called about my card and they told me I had a daily spending limit of $2,500. When I told them the transaction I had attempted was $400, they changed the reason to say that that particular ATM's limit was lower (an Allpoint ATM). Another thing that is very frustrating is that transactions take a long time to reflect on your online banking. And the app at times has shown that I owed some random amount on my car note, and when I called they said "oh no, you don't owe anything" and weren't sure why the app was showing wrong info. I have to continue using them because of my car note; however, I will not do much more with this credit union.

It’s time to make this a savings only account, can’t make deposits when you need too; very inconvenient.

This is about the most useless financial institution. Employees love to hear themselves talk but no one listens to the customers -- I constantly have to ask them to stop and listen, but they never answer a question. Every time I try to move funds from one account to another, I run into issues; each time I call to fix the issues, I get a different answer that's the supposed resolution. How can the "resolution" have a different answer every single time? They often get my account confused with another member who is not even in my household--how is this even safe practices??? When mentioned to the tellers, they shrugged it off and didn't acknowledge it as an issue. Before doing any business with them, beware!
