We have been living at this apartment complex since the first week they opened about 2 years ago. We have seen tons of different staff come and go in that time. All of the staff has been very accommodating until very recently. There has recently been a new change in community/property management. Our previous manager (Abby) was awesome. The new manager Veronica Wilson, is very rude and unhelpful. The complex has always had some issues with packages being delivered into the Amazon Locker, and not being able to recover them. We have had a couple packages get delivered, but didn't receive codes to open the locker. In the past management has been super helpful in opening the lockers for us, and letting us get our package.Today we had a package get delivered into an Amazon Locker, but we didn't receive a code. No big deal just thought I would go to the office and get them to open the locker. Oh boy was I wrong... I talked to Veronica about getting the Amazon Locker opened, and she was extremely rude, unhelpful, and refused to help saying she didn't know how to. This was the first time I have spoken to her, and it was nothing short of unpleasant. She said I would have to wait for the Assistant Community Manager to get back from a tour, to potentially get helped with this situation.I waited for the Assistant Community Manager (Kyina Dotson) to get back into the office. Veronica refused to talk to me and had Kyina explain to me the "procedures" for the Amazon Locker. The procedures she was referring to have never been implemented before and quite frankly don't make any sense. In short, she said I would have to wait 4 days to get my package.I understand that policies change, and if said policy did change then no big deal. My issue is with the way Veronica and Kyina treated me. No help whatsoever and both were extremely rude.

I wrote a review a month ago out of anger and sleep deprivation. I’ve had a month to think about it and I am still not happy living here. When we first moved here, the community was well kept. Since January the apartments have gone down. The residents don’t care about the property. Every other resident has a dog and none of them clean up after them. There’s a courtyard you can’t enjoy because it’s full of poop, even though there’s a dog park just feet away. The maintenance crew are just glorified poop scoopers and don’t have time to actually fix stuff. My biggest issue is the paper thin ceilings. There’s a toddler that lives above me and it is nonestop stomping and dropping of toys, weights, whatever. Management considers this typical apartment noise and say there’s nothing they can do about it. I’ve lived in several apartments on the first floor and have never been this miserable. These apartments are poorly built and we will not be renewing. I spend half the month staying with family and friends just to get away from the noise and it sucks because I pay rent for an apartment I cannot be happy in. I do not recommend these apartments.

With the apartments being newer you would think that its a clean place to live. While its not a huge issue with bugs its a huge problem with smell. The halls are never sprayed out, while animals shouldn't be peeing in the halls it has become a big enough problem that paying tenants shouldn't have to gag to walk to or from their apartment. Garbage is to be set out between 5pm & 8pm to be taken, multiple times we have set it out around 7:30pm so people don't have to pass by gross garbage but we noticed it was being picked up at different times that now we have to keep it out by 5pm just to make sure its grabbed. Parking, we have been told so many different things by staff. Cars have been towed because of a visitor pass being expired by less than an hour. We also talked to someone who had their car stolen from the apartment complex. ( Nothing the apartment could or would do) Hardly any cameras and the apartment says they are not reliable for anything that happens with packages, cars, or anything belonging to the tenants. So you pay almost $1700 a month to have a key to the door and a terrible key fob that you get one per unit and it breaks easily and you have to pay $40+ just to swap it out.The breeze ways are not set up properly doors are constantly broken one wouldn't open for us at all we were stuck and had to kick it open just to leave the building. Also when the doors do break they just sit in the stairway for months causing build up and bug homes. They want you to clean up after your animals but then only put dog waste areas on one side of building one and no where else around the complex. While looking for new apartments I went to look and see what ours was listed at. Mind you its been 2 years never been late on payments never filed any complaints, it was listed for less than $1500 for a 1 bed 1 bath. But they want us to pay over $1700 to resign. Knowing the type of tenants we are. Its unfortunate that they are that money hungry.

I lived here all of 2022 up until February of this year. It is a beautiful and well maintained apartment complex, I had no problems during my stay there other than with management who was there durning my last few months (previous manage was wonderful!). I was to move out by February 4th. If you were in the area during that time, we got hit with a massive snow and ice storm. Most of Tarrant county was shut down for days, the roads were incredibly icy and dangerous, not a soul was on the roads or highways for several days. I managed to get most of my things moved, slowly, it took hours due to the weather, but I had some large items that would have to wait because the parking lot and sidewalks of the complex like everywhere else was like a skating rink. I came back the following Monday for the rest of my items. I was contacted by management on why I hadn’t turned in my keys that weekend. They themselves weren’t even in the office to receive the keys, none of them could make it to work because of the weather. I informed them of my reasoning and was told I wouldn’t be receiving my deposit back because they were charging me rent for the 2 days I didn’t turn in my keys. I was not living there I was actually in my new place, I told them check the electricity and water nothing was used the whole weekend, I just couldn’t get my things moved because of all the ice. I was told I should have sent them a courtesy email, if only I’d sent an email I would have gotten my deposit back. An email?? The manager told me they needed my keys to get in and clean up for the next tenant even though none of them were at work for almost a week! How are you gonna get the apartment ready from home???She stood her ground on that I should have sent her an email. She said she’d contact the property manager to see what they could do and get back to me. She never called me back. I called the office for several days trying to get ahold of her she was never available, the other girls in the office would take my name and number and still no call back. After they deducted 2 days worth of rent from my deposit despite the fact I wasn’t living there and they weren’t even at work, they sent me a check for about $50! So messed up!!

I’m so happy we found the atwell, I have lived in so many apartments and this is by far the best experience we’ve had. The apartments are gorgeous and the leasing staff was beyond accommodating when it came to our move in date. We originally applied for a B1 floor plan but the exact unit wouldn’t be ready for the time we had hoped for. So the Atwell totally made up for it and they put us in a B2 for a great price. They also have awesome events that are held for the residents all the time, and overall it’s a great place to live for good prices!

I came in on 11.08 to look at a 1 bedroom and 2-bedroom apartment. Bryce informed me that he didn't have the exact 1 bedroom to show but can show the model. And then told me I could come back on Friday 11.10 to look at the two bedrooms. I scheduled an appointment for 10am on Friday. I came in at my scheduled appointment time with the mindset if everything was up to par, I would put in application. Needless to say, I didn't get to see the two-bedroom due to him not having keys. I understand things happened, but he could have given me a courtesy call to let me know that he wasn't going to be able to show the apartment at the scheduled time and I could have re did my schedule to see it. I was very disappointed because I felt as if he didn't care or even try to show me anything else. Overall, it was a bad experience for me. Wasted time and I can't even say lack of communication, because there was no communication.so needless to say, I will not be leasing an apartment there.

I have an account with a credit reporting agency to monitor my credit, one day out of no where The Atwell popped up in my collections for $81. I applied to this place a year and a half ago, never signed a contract, and paid all admin fees. When I called to get information as to why there was a collection put on my report unnecessarily lowering my credit, they could not provide me with any information. If you’re going to send $81 to COLLECTIONS I’d really hope you have the stuff to back it up, I’ve already disputed it, but that’s beside the point. It’s something that interfered with my life that I didn’t get paid to fix. I had to fix someone else’s mistake. Bad business, and it seems like extremely poor management.

Wildly unserious management. This place seems to attract people that let their dogs defecate in the hallways. Don’t expect them to do anything about it if you bring it to their attention. They would close maintenance requests without completing them. Parking is a joke. Management legitimately only cares about the bottom line. The spaces themselves were fine; its definitely not because of it (the units) that this is a one-star review. That’s just how bad the management is. And to boot, if for some reason you do decide to choose the Atwell, don’t expect to get your deposit back, because they will embellish how “bad” a shape you left your apartment, even if you leave the place better than you found it. Remember, they only care about the bottom line.

I love the manager Abby and Brian with maintenance. Both Abby and Brian are very professional and accommodating. I've been living here from the beginning and there has never been one issue that has not been dealt with in a timely manner. They've done a great job, keeping things in order. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE my apt. It is immaculate, modern 14 ft tall ceilings, wall of windows that is like living in a sunroom. Office & maintenance staff are so knowledgeable & kind. LOVE gym & pool too. Recently renewed my contract. Living at Atwell has been a wonderful experience!

I love it here! The location is great and I feel safe living in this community. I haven't had any issues with mold or pests. The only problem is some people do not clean up after their dogs, so the turf isn't very usable at times. However, this isn’t a fault of the staff.

This place is trash!!! It smells like both dog urine and dog poop (mind you it’s everywhere). The turf is NEVER cleaned. Previous residents with dogs move out, new residents move in and nothing is ever sterilized or cleaned!! Great location, I have a patio facing the pool that is a rats nest! Abby, the property manager is no manager at all. Asked when the last time she walked the property, of course no response. If she did, she would see how disgusting this place was. There are literally cricket cemeteries in the hallways and mice droppings everywhere!! This place is a health hazard! Lauren Merrcill has yet to return my call. Brice is great, Brian is literally the MVP of this place. Do NOT MOVE HERE!!! As a resident, I MUST admit how disappointed I am for the lack of concern the property manager has for this place that I call my home.

The 1 star is for the location. At first I was excited for the nit being a new build but came to find out it's not all great. Parking was terrible. It was a constant headache. If you don't park by 5-6 pm good luck finding a spot. Visitors take up the spots that should be for the tenants. Whoever designed the parking layout did it terribly. They tried to add more 'spots' by making compact car parking. The cars are almost touching doors. There's a lot of covered parking but of course they charge for that. Should be free. Secondly, tenants keep breaking closed pool hour policy, are extremely loud at night, and the hallways reek of marijuana. There's kids walking up and down those hallways. I don't believe staff addressed any of those problems. There was also the problem of tenants having friends come over and placing objects at the door to prop it open. What's the point of being a gated community. Also, from a friend's experience there as well, maintenance takes a while to complete. Their A/C unit was not functioning for about a month and we're still being charged full rent. Great location but staff needs to do better at having tenants comply with their policies. Brice was awesome though.

Lovely leasing staff , good property concept BUT very dirty and stinking hallways , I couldn't even breathe. Pet hairs littered the hallway accompanied by smelly trash waiting for valet trash services. Coming to do a delivery here is a nightmare for most delivery drivers. Terrible parking arrangement inclusive. Gosh. Wish I could post a video.

Only positive about this place is the location, unless you like smelling dog poop everytime you walk through the gates. Staff will not follow up with residents letting their dogs poop all over the community. Even if you submit multiple videos and unit number, they do nothing. It literally smells like SH*T here!
