They’re only responsive when you’re purchasing. Afterwards, can’t get a hold of them or even a call back. I should’ve definitely purchased from a different dealership.

I have taken all my vehicles to this location for a few years and haven't had any problems unit this year. I have taken my vehicle in for the same problem three times and they keep doing alignmens and trying to tell me its because i'm running over curbs, which i'm the only one who drives this vehicle and i know for a fact i'm not running over any curbs. I will not bring my vehicle back to this location and will not buy any more vehicles from this location.

Service advisor Rosemary I would have to say is the rudest individual no type of communication it's to a point when I had an employee in my truck and she was on Bluetooth. He asked me what I did to piss her off. This is the second time my truck has been in for service first time made it about 2 Blocks Center a video of the check engine light returning in the vehicle, stalling no reply. Nothing was ever said vehicles back for the second time took them three weeks to figure out the problem. Let's see if it's fixed this time. If it's not, I'll leave another review. I know this will be the last time. I'll go back if I could give it negative stars I would. My wife was looking to do an up grade to our limited ford explore so she stopped in to look at them I told her I would rather buy her a Chevy then give this lot any of our money ! ! !

I’ve purchased many cars over my life. Never have I experienced the professionalism, attention to detail, empathy, and courtesy like I just enjoyed with Big Star Ford, specifically MATT KUCERA. Each and every aspect of my vehicle buying journey was spot-on. Matt communicated perfectly, keeping me in the loop but never coming across pushy. And once the time to sign on the dotted line arrived? Again, stress-free, 100% easy and perfectly straight forward. Matt said several times that he was hoping to earn my business. He absolutely earned it, and I’ll be a Big Star customer from here on out.

Eliseo Ramírez and John were absolutely amazing. I walked in just 10 minutes before closing, and they were still incredibly helpful and welcoming. Even after mentioning he’d had a tough day, he stayed positive and kept a smile on his face. They not only found me a great deal on the part I needed, but even installed it for me same day!
These guys truly deserve a raise. Employees like them are the reason customers like me stay loyal and keep coming back.

My husband purchase a 2022 Hyundai Elantra N on 11/15/25. Our car salesman is JOHN. Before purchasing the vehicle when showing us the car we noticed paint job spots that needed to be done. When I asked him about it he said that will be taken care of. The whole process went well . After purchasing the vehicle two days later the battery died. So we took it in and they kept for a week to change the battery and that they were going to make sure everything else was good . Got the car back still needed a paint job , faulty dasher board speaker that still needed to be fixed, and fixing alignment which we were told they will look at it.. We called John numerous times still no answer .. Finally we were able to get ahold of him and he said they still have to order the paint since it is a certain kind and once they have it we can drop it off . After thanksgiving , we called him again no response . Car salesmen is only worried about the commission which they are more on you about updates if you decided yet on purchasing the car . They don’t care about the problems or concerns you have after the vehicle is purchased from them.

I was promised a 50 gift card for test drive. Nothing.

I recently went to Big Star Ford for a recall on the popping sound coming from the driver-side door. I had an appointment, and I expected the process to be straightforward. Instead, I left feeling shocked, dismissed, and honestly disrespected.
When I spoke to the service manager and explained what was happening with my door, his response stunned me. He said, “It’s not like your door is going to fall off,” which felt completely unprofessional and dismissive—especially considering this was a recall issue. I even showed him the paperwork I received, and he told me it “didn’t mean anything,” then tossed it back at me. That moment was incredibly upsetting.
I asked about a loaner car, and he told me no without any attempt to explain alternatives. I asked how long the repair would take, and he couldn’t give me an answer at all—just told me I could take the shuttle. The entire interaction felt like he had no compassion, no patience, and no interest in helping me understand what was going on.
I left feeling unheard, unhelped, and extremely disappointed. A recall is stressful enough, and the lack of basic respect and communication made the situation so much worse. I truly hope Big Star Ford improves the way they treat customers, because no one should walk out feeling the way I did.

The salesmen lie, and they think that their customers are stupid and desperate and will sign any document they put in front of you. Don’t do it!
I bought a real truck at Clearlake Nissan. Was in and out in about two hours and had no issues. Big star Ford is a joke!
