I purchased a 2023 Ram 1500 from Southfork CDJR in Early January 2024 and I wanted to leave a zero rating, but 1 is the lowest allowed. This CDJR dealership uses business practices that are eerily similar to a "buy here, pay here" car dealer on the side of the road. The internet pricing was a borderline bait & switch. Southfork withheld the second keyfob from me, that was present during the test drive. Also, I was forced to buy dealer add on paint job to a 2023 Ram with only 2,000 miles! Worse than that, Southfork did not even perform those services as promised. I won't use specific salesman or "Manager" names, but just know what to expect from this dealer. I will outline some causes for concern with this dealership below. - A supreme lack of communication overall, especially the onset of trying to sell a truck. - A complete misunderstanding of the numbers and no explanation for how the salesman arrived to an out the door price. - The questionable sales tactics, admitted verbatim from a Southfork CDJR sales representative, "I'll level with ya, that internet price is how we get people in the door, the add on's are where we make our money." - After taking pictures, misleading information on the vehicles paint condition (didn't know until the true condition of the paint until day of sale) (Got me in the door) - No loaner, accommodations, or help offered for a self admitted Dealer's mistake - To buy the truck at the internet price, a manager said ("take it or leave it") to purchase the $1700 paint and front window tint package on an almost BRAND NEW truck. I expected the truck to look as such upon delivery, it wasn't. - "NO BULL PRICING, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU PAY", that's their Motto, HOWEVER, this was not the case. - 12 days elapsed from time of purchase with no truck delivery. The only words from Southfork were like ABOUT, SOON, SOMETIME NEXT WEEK, WEATHER delays.

Was purchasing a first car for my little brother. We were interested and used 2022 Toyota Corolla LE base model. We contacted the dealer on a Wednesday and told them we would come from out of town to pick it up on Saturday. The asking price for the car was around 17,900 and were ready to buy. When we got there and finalized the total numbers, we noticed a BIG difference in price. They added almost 4,900 dollars extra in dealer add ons. I understand this is what dealers do at times but most often then not this is optional, especially on used base model beater like this one. I mean 400 dollar wheel locks on a car with only hub caps is absurd. When we declined on the add ons, the sales manager by the name of Manny basically told use they don't want to sell the car to us if we don't buy the 4,900 dollars worth of add ons on this beater. I was so appalled, the add ons itself was almost 1/3 of the price of the car. Mind you we were in contact with them for 4 days, being aware of our situation, not once did they mention the add ons, if they told us ahead that they wouldn't sell it without the add ons, we wouldn't have drove 4 hours for the damn car! These people are scums with no morale or integrity.

I recently visited to examine the 1500 model at this dealership. The sales representatives demonstrated enthusiasm during my visit, but there appears to be a lack of sales motivation in the management. I observed that the model had 4000 miles on the odometer, yet it was labeled as "NEW" with a listed price of 82k. Considering it's a 2024 model, I suggested a price reduction. After some negotiation, they proposed 68k. I noticed room for further negotiation and suggested 65k, especially given that similar models on the market with around 4500 miles are priced at approximately 57k as used. To my surprise, the manager presented a final price of 75k, with additional fees bringing the total to 78k. This left me perplexed. Considering this car has likely been on the lot for more than 150 days, it seems counterintuitive that there's reluctance to sell it. The lack of proficiency in inventory management and apparent absence of sales motivation lead me to believe it's in my best interest to explore other dealerships.

Purchased a 2020 Ram Rebel March 2020. Truck is barely driven with only 25,925 miles on it. Within 6 months of ownership the ram boxes tore up. I have brought it to the service department 6 times, to date, to keep fixing the same problem: see attached photos. The entire service department, managers included, play dumb every time I go in to have the issue fixed. Worst 65k dollar purchase I have ever made! Do yourself a favor and buy ANYTHING ELSE from ANYWHERES ELSE!!!!!! And to the person from Southfork dodge that is going to reply to this with fake sympathy to try and save face on yelp. You have all of my contact information already, feel free to reach out to me at anytime to make this right!!!

This was such a simple and enjoyable experience. Stefany was so helpful and answered all the questions I had. I was stuck between a few colors and she showed me all of them and helped me weigh my options. 10 out of 10 experience. I will always buy from here!

I recently had a diagnostic check after a recent airbag light lit up on the dashboard to prepare for an annual inspection. The recommendation was to repair a wiring harness, which was addressed and fixed properly. However, the check- up also recommended I replace both the left and right horns, which cost $516. I declined the suggested hardware replacement and decided to visually check the horns when I arrived home. I found one of the horns to be loose. I tightened the horn, checked the connection, and horn tested just fine. I saved $516!!! Southfork automotive technicians need to know some customers are paying attention!

I absolutely loved my experience at your dealership. I was lucky enough to have had Marshall helping me. He was so knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted. The entire staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable about buying my Jeep Gladiator.

I purchased a used truck from Southfork last Saturday, about 20 miles into the trip home I started smelling burnt oil coming from the vents. I assumed it was coming from the aftermarket oil catch can for the PVC system that was added to the truck. I had an emergency callout and had to drive to Waco and decided i would check it then. on the way there, mind you this is around 250 miles after driving off the lot a check engine light comes on for a 02 sensor, i figured no big deal, the Ecotec is known for this so i just changed it. While under the truck I noticed a substantial amount of oil leaking on the passenger side and running down onto the lower turbo. I called the salesman who I worked with, and have numerous text messages with in the last week going over these problems since he stated to me " the truck has had a full inspection by the shop". After I explained there is no way this could have been missed by even a novice machinic, he stated that they do the "state required inspection to sell a vehicle" I have not asked to get this fixed, I only asked if they could help as I know it is a used truck. But one would not expect something right off the lot of a supposedly reputable dealership to be dumping oil all over the place. Now he is asking me if I purchased a service contract. I told him that you didn't offer one, or I would have rolled it into the financing with Navy Federal. I am a veteran, not that it matters, and I am only stating that so other veterans may stay clear of this place. The last correspondence I had was that "I will check with the guy who did the contract." They did not even fill the window washer fluid before selling this truck. To say I am disappointed and feel like a customer that does not matter, as I only bought a "used truck" is an understatement. Money is hard to come by these days, and when you do spend it, you want to think people are looking out for you and proud to help and get you into a good reliable truck that you feel safe in knowing it's not going to break down and leave you stranded. I guess I am just to old school to see between the lines anymore. Big dealerships, new truck or old just don't care about making things right anymore or taking care of the people they rely on to make their living. Just push it off the lot and go to the next guy in line.

My recent experience purchasing a car from this dealership had been a massive hardship. I visited the dealership looking for a car; I found one I liked, negotiated the price, then sealed the deal. A few weeks later, I received a phone call from the finance manager, stating that I had to go back to resign the loan application because there was a mistake made by the employee who worked on the application, and to finalize the deal and fund the transaction. I went back to sign and was told the payoff check should be mailed to the loan holder for the traded-in car in a week. Three weeks passed, and the loan holder of the traded-in car still had not received the payoff check. I had to pay the monthly payment for the old car since the loan is still active and under my name. I kept calling the dealership for an update, but I was unsuccessful in speaking to anyone; either I got a full voice mailbox, or no one picked up the phone after the recipient transferred the call. I had to drive all the way back to the dealership to speak with someone; after waiting over there, I was able to talk with the finance manager, and he told me that they forgot to include the loan lender information on the contract after my second visit. They corrected the paperwork and sent it again. It took them over 70 days to send the check to the lender, and four and a half months to refund the payment I had to make for the old car.As I was working my way through this mess, and to make things a bit more interesting, I received two toll invoices for the old car. These invoices showed the old car was driven by someone from the dealership, with the license plates registered to me after I sold the car. The invoices were for multiple toll transactions over four days. Again, I had to speak with someone from the used cars team, who was helpful and responsive, to have these invoices paid by them. What was alarming and concerning to me was that they did not remove the license plates of the old car before using it.However, I appreciate the salesperson, Jarred; he was helpful during this fiasco.

It was an overall good experience. I took my vehicle in for a rattling sound coming from the front drivers side wheel area turns out it was missing a bottle to keep everything in place and also for the heated seat on the drivers side they replaced the wearing it works good now. I just wish the dealership would offer loaner cars for customers.
