Nice little gem in this side of Texas. Great for after a trip to Big Bend.

We stopped through after a trip to Big Bend. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Good portions for the price! The craft beer was very good. We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in town.

Great place to grab a beer before heading into Big Bend. Seems to be the last of any kind of town that has survived around here. Beer was good. We didn't eat but it smelled great. We did get green beans to go, so we shall see. Someone said they were. Hoping they will be good with my burgers later today.

Excellent BBQ for a good price. Was even recognized by Texas Monthly for having amazing BBQ. Check it out!

We got there about 2pm and the brisket was gone baby gone ! So get there early if brisket is a must. The wings were fantastic and so was the sausage. The beer was on point ! The Brewer knows what's up. The vibe was really chill with indoor and outdoor seating. We absolutely will be back and highly recommend a visit to this wonderful joint !

Crazy hard hours, but the food is pretty darn good as are the folks working there. Got there about 15 minutes before opening and decided to stand in line once people started showing up. I was maybe #3 out of a couple dozen, but by the time we were finished eating - no line! So the pro-tip is to just come a 1/2 hour after opening. There's not a lot of lunch options around, so that likely makes it more popular. In a busy season (we were in mid-February), no big deal. Make adjustments if you have arrived in a heavy holiday season.I had the Vaquero sandwich. I didn't want to eat a ton, just sample. It was a great tasting sandwich. It had brisket and a jalapeno sausage. The brisket was good, solidly the reason Texas Monthly gave them an Honerable Mention (high praise) but I liked the Jalapeno-Cheddar sausage that was also in it even better. Came with chips. I also ordered a side of charro beans that were fantastic. They have two BBQ sauces. I sampled both, but liked the darker one. Sorry, didn't come named! The inside had a few tables that were scattered around the two garage bays. However, we sat outside because it was such a nice winter day. I highly recommend outside if you don't get scorched.

Very good BBQ and beer in the Big Bend area. The brisket was good, but the sausage was great, as was the slaw. Reasonable pricing and wonderful atmosphere.

I tried to find out when these folks would be open with New Years - no response to FB messages, non-helpful info on their voicemail. We drove by a couple times, but they were closed. We’re on to other adventures. It looks like they are only open Thursday - Sunday, but not certain of that.

Food is unbelievablely delicious. The brisket and pulled pork are second to none. The Cole slaw is life changing. Worth the trip to Marathon in and of itself!!!
