We were new to the area and looking for a church. Based on past experience, we didn't exactly have the highest of hopes finding a real, bible-based Church. And I'm not saying there still aren't other good churches around, but it's just getting harder and harder to find one.
Lord Jesus is so good, and to our supprise, he took us right to the perfect one - we discovered St. Frederick Baptist Church. Reverend Perry is absolutely amazing and he truly cares for each and every one of his congregation.
Pastor Perry is definitely old school. He is very experienced and is a true man of God. He strongly emphasizes the importance of the Holy Word of God, and encourages his congregation to read the scriptures daily and rely upon them in every aspect of our lives. It's an honor and a blessing to come together and pray for one another and even those who are not in attendance but still need the corporate prayer of the church. He has a church van to pick up members that are unable to drive themselves to service. He also has various ongoing ministries/events that serve his community. The whole congregation are all wonderful people - they are warm and loving and everyone made us feel very welcomed from day one. I can't recommend this church and this pastor highly enough!”
