My wife and I had our taxes done at the Marble Falls office. Everything seem to be going well, until we received notice from the IRS that we owed more money. That was early last year May 2023. The gentleman who prepared our taxes said it was an error on their system and he would contact his supervisor and it would be taken care of. A few months later we received another letter from the IRS saying that we still owed the money, so we went back to their office and met with the preparer and he said they would handle it. Well a couple of months ago the IRS sent another letter regarding this same issue, so we called him again, and he said if we could pay the amount due they would reimburse us. We did, but of course we never were reimbursed for this shortage. My issue is not paying the IRS for this error, but by being misled and made to believe it was their new system that was causing this problem. When I called him, he said it was our mistake and not theirs. We've never had this problem with any H&R Block or any other Tax Preparation Agency in the last 50 years. We're not bitter over this, just disappointed with this particular H&R Block location.Integrity: doing what is honest, especially when no one is looking.This year, we will go elsewhere.Cleto & Ruth MartinezBertram, Tx

Have been calling and leaving voicemails for two months after filing an extension, have never had a call back.I have went by numerous times during “business hours” on Tuesdays and they are always locked. Was told to email all my tax documents when I filed the extension months ago and NO RESPONSE. So a week ago I booked an appointment online, took off work and arrived early, just for this appointment . Guess what, not open, door was locked, lights off and myself and another older man waiting a half hour. That is not how to run a business. I will not be coming back after 6 years.

Worst experience. I tried for a month to reach someone to file an extension after being with HR block 5 years. I got help the day before extensions were due to be filed and was very grateful. I was given an email I could send my tax info and did. I never heard back for a month.
