Myself and some friends took a tour of the Judd Foundation on our trip to Marfa and had an amazing time. You really have to experience Judd’s work here, as everything has been carefully curated as the artist himself intended. Plus Marfa has its own vibe that distinguishes places like MOMA. If you are a Judd fan, it’s absolutely a must-see!

These formerly private living and working spaces provide firsthand experience of Judd’s concept of permanent installation in the Chihuahuan Desert. Judd Foundation offers two different guided visits of properties in downtown Marfa, La Mansana de Chinati/The Block, and the Studios. Judd Foundation offices at 104 South Highland Avenue are open daily from 9:00am–5:00pm to assist you with questions or concerns regarding guided visits.
