I just left the store in Marion, I don't know so beware other Kingsford charcoal, if the bag says 2×12 and it is a single bag don't buy if they are not wrapped together they will charge you 20 dollars a bag not 2 for 20. That is just no right and I told the person and he didn't care, even the receipt said 2×12 for 20 but he would not give me the other bag of charcoal because they were separated. Bull shit

Please steer clear of this location around the afternoons.. the woman in there is the most rude person in existence...... she should not be working in this type of environment where you have to deal with customers... it ruins your mood to the max.. I used to work for dollar general for a while..and it is very hard because they're always understaffed and the pay is horrible, but that never stopped me from being polite and putting a smile on my face no matter what... anyway, this woman is always this way.. please teach your employees some customer skills because you will lose business for sure this way..I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way....

CHANGE OF HEART
I had previously rated this Dollar General 5 stars. Yesterday evening I had visited the Marion Dollar General to make a purchase and used my digital wallet to pay however after I was charged the cashier and manager refused to give me the things I just had bought. So I left the store empty handed and felt that I was a mistreated due to the fact I'm a Latino. I plan to file a claim to sue Dollar General for stealing my money and for the racist actions they bestowed on me.

There is a woman who works here who is older with curly grey hair , I come here at least 3 times a week , she has the most sourpuss attitude I’ve ever seen, she is never kind. She will leave cigarettes and a lighter at the check out and make everyone who comes in feel like a bourdon. It’s unacceptable

Love that it's so close to home and go there almost daily , but really wish they wouldn't leave clutter just sitting in the aisles. (And it will be the same spot all day 9am-8pm that ive witnessed) bc my kids and I were just walking down the aisle and a shelf they had taken down (3 of them) were just thrown there and my son hit his head hard and was bleeding. His head now hurts so much.

Nice staff as I said before, however, I would ask you to verify the prices you are being charged at the register compared to what price is shown on the shelf. On several occasions I was charged a different price than was shown for items on their shelf price tag. One time it was because the count per box was different and they didn't sell the item listed on the price tag in the quantity shown. Then today same item, new price tag on the shelf and the item scanned for $.25 more. I showed them a photo I snapped of the price on the shelf but they didn't believe me. They went and looked and came back and corrected my price on the items I bought. I am not saying anything other than double check that you are charged the same price as what they listing it for.

Store hours online and on the door say they open at 8:00 a.m. I arrived at 8:15 to the door locked with the lights on. Waste of my time.

I was standing at the gift cards deciding which one to get when The toothless cashier got upset and walked off stating that he isn’t waiting. “I gotta go put this stuff up and I only have an hour”. I wasn’t there for more than a minute and I was not in line. I asked him to come back nice I picked out what I needed and was waiting for some time and he began telling me about his job and what he has to do. I told him that his job right now is to ring me up and that I need to speak to a manager. He told me he was the manager. I told him I need contact for his regional manager and he refused. He then refused to ring me up.
