I called the pharmacist and asked could he stay open for another 5 - 10 minutes, I was driving as fast as I could. The wonderful pharmacist said for me to take my time, don't get in a wreck. “I am incredibly grateful for the Walmart Pharmacy in Marlin, Texas. When we came in on January 2, 2026, around 6:15 PM, my mom needed an essential medication for a blood clot in her leg, and with Medicare, the cost was something she simply could not afford.

Instead of just giving us a price, the pharmacist and pharmacy employee—both wonderful women—went above and beyond to help. The pharmacist personally called the medication company and secured the code for a free starter pack, allowing my mom to start her medication immediately.

This may be a small pharmacy, but it is a much-needed part of the Marlin community. Their kindness, patience, and compassion made a stressful situation so much easier.
