“I stumbled into "Sisters" this afternoon a full month early for the book signing but I am so glad I did. I kept telling myself. "Self. Go in there!" I was warmly greeted by Julie and Claudia Lowery. I felt so comfy. There is no pretense going on here. I was free to roam. I selected a vintage necklace and a tiny black and white framed photo of a woman in period clothing with a bird on her arm. I loved it! I though at first it was a vulture she was holding but now I think it was a Caracara which acts like a small vulture. This was a wonderful find for me but the best part was talking with these sweet ladies. They were warm and homey. Oh. The frames. My goodness. I was overwhelmed. They were huge and small and elaborate. They got me thinking of possibilities.”
