I have been a customer of Lowe's for many years. I've been pleased with every purchase, with very few exceptions. Any time I've ever had to return anything, it was always hassle free and very easy. That is, until I bought a jacket. The tags are still on the jacket, it's very obvious that it hasn't been worn. When I told the lady at the Service Desk that I needed to return the jacket, she said "We don't return clothes." I told her its a jacket, it's not like it underwear or a bra - it's just a jacket, never been worn, doesn't fit, etc. She again said "We don't return clothes", and added that "that is company policy". I then asked her to show me where it says that in their policy. She conferred for several minutes with a coworker, and then advised me that a manager was on the way. The manager comes up and asks how he can help, and I tell him that I want to return the jacket, doesn't fit, still has tags, etc. He advises me that they don't take clothes back and that is company policy, I then asked him to show me where it says that in the company policy. He then tells me that it is up to manager discretion, and then tells me the store manager will be in tomorrow if I want to talk to him. The Home Depot will be getting my business from now on.

The new manager Erik has ran off every decent employee. They have ruined the pro desk and lost countless home and commercial clients. I have been sold 1,000s of dollars of merchandise they don't have and he tries to make me Wait 2- 10 Days for card refund and don't Wanna give a merch card. I've spent too much money here to be treated like crap and ignored. Today alone TWO stores are missing Over $6,000 in lumber their computer say I there and they have ZERO. They should be shut down soon with that profit and loss ratio.

I have spent over $7000 on materials in Acworth ga over the last 2 months. This morning I was to deliver a trailer to Lowe's, maybe not the one I was parked at but Lowe's. And my thanks for all this is my truck getting booted. Screw you lowes.

We went in with my grandma trying to find a shower suitable for my grandpa. We were then approached by a woman named Anita who appeared to be a friendly associate doing her job. She told us the shower we wanted wasn't in stock in Marshall or Longveiw but it was in stock in Henderson and Shreveport she then began to tell us that a woman named Melissa at a Lowe's in Henderson on 79 had laid eyes on it. She told us it was $1200 and that we would get a $500 discount and our price would be $700. My grandma drove all the way to Henderson, payed someone for gas, payed someone for their help to install the shower TODAY because it was "there" she was so sure of it. I tried to call back up there to resolve this issue and had a hold time of an hour. I am begging you if a woman named Anita comes bouncing up to you in Marshall Lowe's asking if you need help SAY NO. I don't know if this woman was high on dope or what but I don't recommend her. On the other hand there was a man up there named Clint Waters. He was a great associate he knew what he was doing. He gathered all of the correct information and was very precise when it came to helping us I do recommend him.

DO NOT GO TO LOWES IN MARSHALL TX FOR ANY ROOFING!! DO NOT LET GREGG install a roof for you. He is out of texarkana and is the Lowes contractor in Marshall TX. We have 4 leaks, the shingles used are worse than was taken off due to hail damage... don't know if lowes uses 2nds, but it sure looks like it! Also, the roofer (greg) used the wrong size nails and split the wood on all 4 sides if my house, ruining a brand new paint job, they threw the shingle bundles so hard stuff fell off my shelves and broke, the main beams in my house are busted and my porch now has a swag, due to being knocked loose. He drove over by rock wall and busted it, my porch has busted wood because of using the wrong nail size also!! He screwed a hole in my wood and left it saying it wasn't rotten so he wouldn't have to replace it and it is still rotten with a hole. We called Lowes 3 times during Greg trying to roof our home. Lowe's NEVER came and checked his work or called us. They paid him and finally came out over a month later to see the damage. They promise to fix but going on 3 months and NOTHING...unless you count Greg's helper on my roof with a pry bar and putty gun fixing something...which by the way did not. I still have the leaks!! Bottom line!! DO NOT USE LOWE'S CONTRACTORS FOR ANYTHING!! Apparently, lowes does not stand behind anything and does not care about ruining your personal property!! I wish I would have looked them up, everyone seems to be complaining about their work. No wonder they are closing 60 stores!!

They argued about sale price which was a big savings. Too long of a story to tell. Then waited 50 minutes for someone to load 20 bags of mulch in my truck. I had to ask cashier to announce it 3 times. I heard her each time. The person that loaded me said she never heard it. But she did see me twice while loading others. Said I was parked in the wrong place. I parked in the correct space for 5 minutes and no one came so I drove back to the cashier end and next to the mulch I paid for. I stayed there and again had to ask casher again plus one employee said that's not his job. He was inspecting the mowers work. The second time walked by me I ask him again for help. said he would check on it. Finally I walked down to where I had parked earlier and found the loader. Yes I was rude to her and she was very rude to me. Said I was suppose to park down there. after exchanging words for some time she loaded me up. ALL OF THIS TOOK 50 MINUTES. I realize it's difficult to hire good people. LOWES hires idiots. And a lot of them.

Very few customers, yet waited for 12 minutes to have key made. One employee finally assisted, letting me know he is "not too good with keys but I'll give it a try." Probably worth the drive to Longview to Home Depot.

I ordered a washer and dryer set online and their website said both appliances were in stock at this store location. The confirmation email said delivery could take between 3-7 days and that someone would call me with a hard date soon. Four days after I placed my order no one had reached out to me, so I called to check on the delivery status. The person at the appliances department was confused. My appliances were there, but no one had put them on the schedule for delivery yet. So I was a little surprised and disappointed that my order wouldn't be delivered until a full week after I ordered it. But this is still within their described range of delivery so I let it go. But here it is Monday morning, my scheduled delivery day, and I just got a call from them. Apparently they decided to unwrap the appliances today to inspect them (if they've been sitting in their storage why didn't they already do this days ago?) and found big dents on the washer. The man speaking didn't seem to care at all. His apathetic attitude was infuriating as he proposed to deliver the appliances with dents today, or else send a new set another week and a half from now. I didn't pay so much for new appliances to take them with dents. So it looks like I'll be waiting a total of two and a half weeks for appliances that were supposedly in stock. He didn't offer an expedited special delivery, he didn't try to find a replacement from another location nearby. And it's not all about the money, but he didn't offer a discount on the price, much less a sincere apology. The theme of the call was "Hey, here's our terrible service and there's nothing you can do about it so I don't care." If I knew this was going to be such a frustrating and disappointing experience I would never have bought them from this location. Update: another week later and we still don't have the appliances. More excuses and apologies. Blah.

Well stocked Lowes with great seasonal selection. We have no complaints! Over past two years, we've been here a lot for appliances, home improvement, plants, etc. Never had a complaint. Staff is knowledgeable and takes you directly to the row where you need to be.
