Overpriced for what you get. It's not hard to make a better dinner salad. The bread was great. The stuffed flounder barely had any taste. The staff was nice. I probably will not be back.

Always great food & service thru the years until today's trip. What's the point of a waiting list & taking our ph #, when you seat 3 groups behind the two of us. Short staffed is no excuse, but I understand as I've managed F&B for years. An apology could have made a difference. We were sitting outside patiently in our vehicle & saw all those waiting after us get seated 1st. An apology goes a long ways..... Too bad Cali was not working tonight.

My husband and I both ordered the grilled, stuffed shrimp. The stuffing appeared only on one side of the shrimp. We would not order this entree again. We would give this restaurant another try on another occasion, largely due to the friendly people that worked there. Everyone spoke and smiled. The restaurant overlooks the Matagorda Marina.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access by a very long ramp.

Excellent location on the waterfront, overlooking the marina. Service was 5 stars! Our server was friendly and on-top-of-it! Best part of the meal was the little loaf of warm bread that they brought out as a starter. We ordered the ribeye, which was tender and perfectly cooked and seasoned; and the soft crab po' boy. The sandwich had excellent flavor with a delicious aoili. Highly recommend!

The French toast is amazing! Did you get you some of them biscuits and gravy too? Yes I did. French toast and biscuits and gravy are part of a well balanced diet. Don’t forget to add the sausage patty to the biscuits and gravy. Delicious. Them sweet ladies in there know what they’re doing.

We visit the area and eat at Waterfront Restaurant a few times a year. I usually get the stuffed jalapeños as an appetizer. They are some of the best I’ve ever had. Most of the time I get a cheeseburger and fries as the main course but I’ve had the fish before. It’s all good stuff. It’s nice to see the water and the boats going in and out.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a pretty large ramp for wheelchair access.

Good food, happy people, and a welcome break from cooperate "fast food." Our gang of 7 showed up outside of busy hours, and were greeted with smiles and happy staff. They put the tables together for us and set us back where we could talk about our fishing day. Our waitress took care of every detail, to include a spill that one of our clumsier anglers made. The food arrived right on time, all at one time, allowing us all to enjoy the fresh hot food at the same time. This is now one my my "Must stops" even if all I need are a drink and onion rings.Parking: Plenty of parking, even for those of us pulling a trailerWheelchair accessibility: It is a bit of an incline, but not too hard to do.

We decided to try this place since we are spending the weekend in town. My husband ordered the catfish, I had the fried flounder. He didn’t care for the catfish but we both agreed the fried flounder was out of this world. It was SO GOOD! Highly recommend.

Great service. Good prices. Nice size portions. Gluten free and low carbs diet*! Yes, they had something delicious on the menu. The margarita definitely hit home! Noy low carb but worth the cheat! Super clean also. Great views from the restaurant. Can't wait to come back ?(*Grilled chicken breast entree, salad and mixed vegetables)

I have been eating here since 2002. The establishment hasn't changed much and the food has always been consistent. Nothing fancy-but it is not supposed to be. After you seat yourself, you will dine with either fisherman or aristocrats...you never know who will be down in Matagorda. The seafood is fresh, the service is amazing, and the drinks are cold. Yes, they have beer, wine and liquor along with the normal drinks. The view oversees the harbor from the second floor with lots of big windows. There are stairs and a ramp for accessibility.I have always seen and visited with the owner/operator each time I have gone in. Very friendly staff. Very clean establishment. Can't say enough about the food...always good, always fresh. I have eaten just about everything on the menu at least once and unless you just don't like a certain something-it is all good.Parking: Lots of space, even pull through for your boat or RV.Kid-friendliness: This is a quiet, laid back atmosphere perfect for kids with plenty to see looking out of the windows that go all the way down to the floor.Wheelchair accessibility: Large ramp that is well kept and has a non-slip surface.
