Had awesome service from Javier Gallegos, talked to us like people not a salesman. He was real, that’s hard to find now a days. The gentleman that helped us finalize the paper did a great job as well.

We drove an hour to Mathis to buy a truck we had seen on their website as for sale at a certain price. When we got there, met the salesman, told him wanted to see and test drive the particular specific truck at the specific price. Went on the test drive, and since we had done our homework and had no further questions, offered to buy the truck at the price as quoted on the website. After the salesman took the offer to 'his boss', the boss came and told us the truck was actually not for sale as it was 'mistakenly' listed on their website as it was a 'fleet deal' and not really for sale. This was a classic 'bait and switch'. We were greatly disappointed as we went in good faith and the financial ability to leave with a new truck that afternoon and yet we were at minimum mislead and actually lied to by this dealer. It is so sad this type of tactic is still used. No wonder the US businesses are so distrusted. Our mistake was to think we would be treated fairly and truthfully. Shame on the Chevy dealer in small town Texas.
