“".....wanna' hear a great story".....my wife and I were traveling to South Padre Island and by chance stopped at the HEB grocery store in Mathis, TX.

As we were just about to leave the parking lot, God saw fit to bless us. We were approached by a very friendly lady, who greeted us with a warm smile and was passing out business cards.

We thought for sure these cards would be for some product or service, but guess what she was promoting?......God!!, the cards were an invitation to join them at Mt. Pisgah Baptist church.

What a wonderfully blessed experience we had at the church.....from the reading of the opening scripture, prayer & praise dance by the children, to the uplifting music from the praise team, and the encouraging sermon from Rev Albert Walker reminding us from Jude 24-25 to "Give God His Props". We were warmly greeted after church and met Pastor Walker's wife Krystal and their three beautiful children.

So thank you Ms Janet for allowing God to use you and passing out your "business cards" in the grocery store parking lot. This entire worship experience was a tremendous blessing in our lives.

May God's blessings continue to shine on Mt. Pisgah and their ministry in this community.”
