The cashier was extremely friendly. They are doing construction on the right side of the parking lot but still plenty of parking.

The office people are rude and unhelpful on more than one occasion they have either wasted my time or not been helpful from check cashing to sending faxes they have been zero help ! One day I was in the checkout line and was asked if I was aware that a pack of bacon I was buying cost 11 dollars to which I asked the cashier (who was a manager by the way) “do I look like I can’t afford bacon do you think I should put it back and get a bag of potatoes instead of I could give this heb 0 stars I would I hope we get a Walmart soon so they can put this small town dump out of its misery already

I like this store because it's small but a lot of the staff that work there are not too friendly and seem like they don't like their jobs. That's just my experience anytime I'm there.

The people here at Mathis HEB are always friendly and helpful. It might be small, but I love coming here. It has what we need without all that extra stuff like an HEB plus that makes it so easy to over spend. 🙌

I always get the best service. Today was a delightful young man who was sacking my groceries, making sure I didn't need help loading the water in my car. He made me feel good.
