“We cannot thank Stephanie, (Manager), enough for all the help securing our stay. Due to several mishaps, it took us 3 days to make a 17 hour drive from Colorado. All Stephanie asked was for us to stay in touch with updates and she held our reservation and made adjustments to accommodate our misfortunes. We LOVED the stay. it was very quiet and out of the way which protected our privacy. Guaranteed, the next time we vacation to Padre Island, we will without a doubt stay at Mathis RV Park every time. The commute to the island is well worth the stay here.”

Nearby activities: Lake Corpus Christi for biking canoeing, fishing, hiking, kayaking or walking the trails.

Safety: Lots of surrounding lights as you're pulling into the entrance and around the buildings.

Walkability: To the Chinese restaurant on premises or walk over to the Mexican restaurant.

Take your dog for a walk around the premises. Be sure to leave no trace behind by picking up your pets ?? and place in a small disposable bag a to tossing in a trash can.

Food and drinks: No complimentary food or drinks on premises.

Noteworthy details: Courteous and Friendly staff always asking if you need any clean towels, coffee, soap or if you're needing new linens for your bed. If staying for a prolonged period due to work in the area.”

“One would think by seeing it,that it would be a terrible place,but for a small town,it's pretty well worth the stay. Little expensive for a small motel,but worth the stay.”
