The rooms are consistently described as spotless and spacious. The staff is noted as courteous and friendly. The property is well-lit for safety and features outside room entrances. It is within walking distance to on-site and nearby restaurants, though one on-premise restaurant may be phone-order only. There is also a highly-regarded barbecue restaurant across the highway. The location is near Lake Corpus Christi, providing access to activities like biking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and walking trails. The inn is pet-friendly, encouraging guests to clean up after their dogs. Some issues were reported. These include occasional problems with the TV, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a lack of hot water. The ice machine was out of service, and towels were sometimes described as small and scratchy. A few guests experienced early room entry by staff before the 11 a.m. checkout time. There was also a reported incident where staff initially showed a lack of knowledge regarding service animal regulations. Despite these points, many guests found the inn to be a great value and would stay again, advising others not to judge the property by its older exterior appearance.
This was such a sweet surprise! The location was perfect for our needs and the room was amazing. Clean, appeared newly furnished. It was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and spacious. Loved the fact it had a dining table. Nice experience all the way around.
