Herreras built custom cabinets for our kitchen, living room, bath rooms and laundry room. They are amazing! They fit in our into all of the spaces perfectly and believe me that matters. One 1/8 of an inch off and drawers won't open. The painted surfaces are holding up great a hear later. The stained and varnished surfaces look brand new too. One of our other contractors really messed things up and Herrer's was able to adapt. I highly recomend them.

This has been a discouraging experience, which is disappointing because I’d been eager to work with Hererra’s.We met with Hererra’s back in September, where he got our measurements, discussed what we were wanting, etc. He gives my contractor and I an estimate and says 6 weeks. Perfect!We took out a hefty home remodel loan based off the timeline and cabinet numbers he gave us. Week five approaches and my contractor reaches out since it’s been radio silent. Hererra now says it’ll be six weeks from *that* specific day. We are now looking at 12 weeks out from what we were initially told. Yikes.I was wanting to order a specific vent hood and asked what measurements I needed, as the hood is custom and would take six weeks. He told me to send him the information, but never got back.Fast forward to yesterday: my contractor had tried numerous times prior to contact him to no avail, and the few times I was able to get in touch with him were by sheer luck, he finally sends via email his drawing and numbers. *THEY WERE DOUBLE* what we spoke about.I’m not an unreasonable person by any means. I completely expect there to be little tweaks in the numbers, but double the number he initially gave us was completely mind boggling, even with the optional add ons. Even playing with the numbers and cutting down on the additional add ons he added still wasn’t close to the number he gave us. When I called to inquire, I can’t say he effectively gave me an adequate answer as to why the number was massively different than originally. Disappointed is an understatement. Mind you, I also made various other kitchen purchases based off the numbers he gave me, which completely throws my entire budget off.So, short version: I’m now paying over $1,000 a month on a loan with nothing to show for it several months later, an undependable timeline, an uncommunicative cabinet company who has only reached out once to give me the inflated number and am now stuck having to start this process over from square one with new cabinet prices. Stressful is an understatement.If I could give Hererra’s and any future clients advice, the drawings and valid numbers should be submitted within days of him coming to your home, plain and simple. I am disappointed in myself for sticking around because even though he was described as slow, his work is very good. I feel immensely despondent that this is our end result.
