This 7-Eleven is not so much a convenience store as it is a cautionary tale about what happens when standards collapse. The approach alone is a trial: overflowing trash bins, cigarette butts peppering the sidewalk like confetti from a parade no one wanted, and weeds sprouting defiantly through cracked pavement. The exterior suggests neither safety nor cleanliness—only resignation.
Inside, matters worsen. Floors sticky underfoot, the faint crunch of something unidentifiable with each step, and shelves dusted not with pride but with neglect. Refrigerators display drinks with expiration dates that feel more like archeological finds than refreshments. The hot food counter emits a smell best described as ‘oily déjà vu.’
The staff—clearly pulled from the lowest rung of both competence and presentation—shuffle through tasks without urgency, their uniforms as wrinkled as the corners of the store. Transactions are conducted with the kind of enthusiasm one might reserve for paying parking fines. There is no sense of pride, no discipline, no understanding that even the most modest shop can operate with dignity.
In my upbringing, even the smallest tea stall could gleam, its counters wiped to a shine, its staff alert and crisp. Here, in what should be a model of efficiency, we find only the debris of carelessness. This is not convenience—it is surrender.

Owner doesn't take kindly to people who need to use the restroom in an emergency, even paid chstomers.

The exterior and interior looked clean in general. There were only a few small debris on the sales floor. I did not use the restroom, so I don’t leave any comment on it, as I saw some people had complaint with the dirty restroom. The only cashier was at the front desk and busy on the transaction for the customers. He was no smile but gave the greetings to me. Because I bought quite a lot of cans of energy drink, so he especially used the double bags for them. The selection and inventory of the products were very good. Some prepared hot food was available. The Amazon package pick-up is available outside of the convenience store. Good experience at here.

Yet again a couple days later a rude old man said yo me that he would not fix the price of the coffee with rewards to the 1.29 any size coffee and charged me full price. I guess this is just for the extra special customers and I can just go to hell.

Don’t order Uber eats here. They stock many wines in the cooler. I ordered white wine and they pulled the warm wine despite the efforts by the Uber driver to ask for the cold wine. I called and confirmed with the clerk that they had cold wine. It took calling the store for 5 minutes before he picked up the phone. Another awful 7-11. Is there any good 7-11 in the country? The answer is no.

Mens restroom was deplorable, no toilet paper, which was okay, went to wash my hands, no soap. Went to dry my hands, no paper towels and the air dryer wasn't working. Then figured screw it I'll just use some hand sanitizer, and wouldn't you know it. No hand sanitizer. Do better

I hate 7-Eleven with a burning passion. Each experience with their employees is infuriating no matter which one you go to. Like I don't know if they go on a start and you took pay them better or they just need to hire better people. But let's just say this if I have to drive a little bit more to get the to the QT I will. Hate 711 dude. Like all I needed was some Tums because my stomach f****** hurts and this jack a** won't get off his f****** phone. And then there's something wrong with their checkout machine and he still just chatting away on the phone.

We just bought gas here, and we got bad gas! The car was running fine and then we drove off and the car engine is shaking and we can not accelerate! No one is answering their phones, and I have been on hold. I would not even give a 1 star but had to in order to post!

I’ve heard rumors about staying away from McKinney and Allen, while we’re in town filming a show and they were right. I just had the worst experience ever at a 7-11. It upset me so much that I am sitting right in front of it writing my review. The man at the register at this morning at Store #38108, was extremely racist and rude. He did not want to help me nor did care to respond to the questions I’d had in regards to an item I was purchasing for a colleague. The men that were behind me were treated totally different than I was. On top of everything else, he charged me for a more expensive item than what I was looking for. That led me to go back inside for a refund. I’m not sure what he said exactly to the lady who helped me with my return because he was speaking in a different language, but the look on his face told me everything that I was already thinking. I will gladly drive to an Exxon/7-11 in a different county before I ever go to this one again.

Worst experience at a convenience store. Guy did there reading a magazine while I stood there waiting to be checked out for 2 minutes. He wanted me to leave. And I did. Never going back. Target is right next door

WARNING ALERT! I went to the store located at 8400 SH-121 in Mckinney and purchased $200 ebay gift card. Got to the office and tried to use it but the card did not work. I checked the balance on ebay and the card was not even listed. Went back to 7/11 a few hours later and they told me the cards are managed by a third party and I needed to take it up with them but they would not tell me the third party name. Then they told me to wait 24 hours for the cash to show up on the card, which is total BS! I called eBay and they said the card balance was zero but would not give me any additional info. So the card doesn't register on the ebay gift card balance checker on the ebay site but ebay tells me the balance is zero and 7/11 tells me it is not their problem. Can't believe a storied francise like 7/11 is working with scammers. Never buy from them again.
