We tried to rent. Used the online app to pay using PayPal. We got to Budget and no cars avaliable, when the reservation site clearly said they had cars. Requested a refund and found a rental with Avis in Frisco (awesome customer service) They used my debit card. It's been a week now and no refund from McKinney Budget.
I will be calling.

Poor service and base model cars. Do not recommend if going for longer trips and keep time to pick up car as you might have to wait for an hour or so to just get/return the car.

Was charged an additional $103.96 for mileage. This was not explained when I rented the car nor does it show up in the app. The front desk worker was really dismissive and very condensing. I will not use this company again.

The agent forced us to us their NTTA tolltag service with additional $13.49. We intended to use our NTTA tolltag or avoided toll road.

Every guy that I've dealt with from here has been great! their customer service has always been good.. ran into the woman that works there and without an interaction the 1st go around I could tell by the way she treated the other customers that she hates her job.. well this go around I happened to deal with her and after renting many vehicles the last few weeks from here to use to get to work, with no issues.. I wasn't able to rent a vehicle this time around.. she basically pushed me out the door because I wasn't moving fast enough for her ..while trying to figure out why my card that i used a few days ago to rent a vehicle from there wasnt working this time... she turned the lights off on us and started locking all the doors and walking out the door as if to tell us it was time to go.. she rudely cutoff a customer that walked in while i was trying to sort everything out on my end..never had this experience with anyone else and if she's a representation of Avis.. then she is truly a poor representation.

When I walked in a lady was on the phone and snapped her fingers at me. When she got off the phone she was not friendly at all. I asked a couple questions and she was just rude.

Picked up my car and they gave me a vehicle that had not been washed or vacuumed inside. No wind shield washer fluid and the gas tank wasn't full. To top it off, there was a crack in the wind shield. There were plenty of similar vehicles on the lot and they didn't want to give me a different option.
The employees were friendly enough but they didn't have heat in their building so maybe that's why they just wanted to get the day over with.

This place is HORRIBLE!! Rented a car online, almost a week in advance, we get to the location and they say no cars are available like WTH Is a PAID reservation good for?? Smh I missed the event I was trying to attend in another state messing around with AVIS! Called customer service and got an overseas rep that no speaka eny English! Never got any kind of compensation other than a dry “I’m sorry” from the lady that didn’t gaf about the inconvenience!! Horrible horrible customer service in person, online, and the phone. I will NEVER spend another penny with this company. I can assure any good reviews on this location is paid or from employee’s friends!

Rented a SUV from this location and had multiple problems. The cruise control didn’t work, the crash detection was messed up causing the car to sound an alarm about every 5-10 minutes while driving, the wiper fluid was low and the car still had trash in it. I will not be renting from AVIS again even if I have to pay more somewhere else.

Awful rude people, can’t even get a rate from them, if you don’t do it on line they don’t want to hear from you! Don’t bother with them just call someone else, anyone else!
