I received a mailed and emailed service special for a $39.95 oil change that included my VIN, so Bob Tomes Ford clearly knew which vehicle I own (a Ford Maverick Hybrid). The coupon listed semi-synthetic oil and said “specialty oil higher.” I called ahead to ask about full synthetic, since Ford requires it for my vehicle, and was told the coupon would still apply and that they cover the required oil for Ford vehicles.
When I arrived, I waited in the Quick Lane with no assistance, then had to go inside and track someone down while staff walked past me. Eventually I was told the coupon would not work for full synthetic and that the oil change would be $140. When I questioned why a VIN-specific coupon was sent for a vehicle it doesn’t apply to, no one had an answer.
This felt very much like a bait-and-switch, and $140 is extremely high for an oil change on a Ford Maverick. I left and went to another dealer. Posting this so others are aware before making the trip.

Took my truck in to Bob Tomes Ford and Josh Patterson was an excellent service provider. There was also a recall issue that needed addressing and Josh kept me updated on everything that was going on. He was pleasant and easy to work with.

Josh was our service person today and was very informative, accommodating, knowledgeable, polite and patient. All of our questions and concerns were addressed and taken care of expeditiously! The business is clean, people are friendly, children have an area to play and there is very interesting art pieces. throughout the dealership (I'm an art lover!).
