Hector in the meat market was extremely rude & disrespectful. Every HEB visitor should be treated with respect, dignity, and the same level of customer service. I assumed getting a manager to help diffuse the situation & avoid any further disrespect was a good idea - boy was I wrong. Not only did the manager bark at me “they’re busy” even though I was the only patron standing there for several minutes & ignored, a random customer teamed up with them and let me know she’s here now and would like to shop! Of course when I react and defend my honor - I , the black woman, is now the problem and needs to leave the store. Typical.
Extremely disheartening and discriminatory. The entitlement and degradation has reached an all time low. I will be contacting the BBB.

I still love HEB, but.. An order was placed from my account Saturday evening for delivery. Some one hacked my account and ordered over $1000 of makeup. Got notice with door pics and delivery updates. As of now HEB will not reverse one of the charges
. I'm out $450. They reversed one. Overdraft and other charges lost. Do not store your card info on site. Going yo to be difficult to go back.

Love shopping at HEB and it’s sister store central market. Quality products that range from food to beauty / hygiene products. Compared to target, Kroger, Tom Thumb HEB beats and upholds the standard for food quality.

Disgusting! I always visit the restaurant and have no issues. I visited last night and ordered food and. A sweet tea. It was dark out side and inside my car. I took the food through the window and put my cup of tea in drink holder. As normal I took many sips of my tea on the way home. When I got home I saw something at the bottom of my cup. I will never eat at this filthy restaurant again. Gross 🤢 🤮

It's always a mixed experience. Sometimes your followed in thee parking lot sometimes your not. Sometimes the employees shopping for pickup orders completely block the aisles and sometimes they just park in the middle other times they abandon cart or just run into you. Sometimes everything is stocked well and other times well. . . It's always busy and the produce always smells like seafood. Sometimes prices are better than Kroger but during holidays they seem raised. Quality of produce, particularly bell peppers it's always poor.

The HEB chain of grocery stores is easily one of the best, if not THE best, in Texas. Their prices are competitive but their differentiator is their store brand: their buttery tortillas made fresh daily on-site, their BBQ (not top tier for TX but solid nonetheless), and their store label of other various items like chips, juices, lemonade (the BEST), pizza, and numerous other items. The meat from the onsite butcher is very good quality (not inexpensive but priced appropriately). The fish is also high quality. They have prepackaged meals also that are great. It’s a large store, laid out well, no gimmicks or “reward cards” like the national chains. Just the highest quality products, extremely good selection, at reasonable prices.

HEB always offers fresh groceries. A bit expensive then what you can get at other places, but you py for the quality.
Would love to see discounts on its bakery products.
