Grateful for the help of Amir (the pharmacist) and Presley yesterday evening. My prescription was filled for 90 days because that’s what my doctor called in. I needed to transfer it to a 30 day prescription because we are still monitoring my labs monthly. Presley immediately noticed the expensive 90 day cost and that’s what alerted me that I hadn’t changed it to a 30 day supply. The fact that she even cared that it was expensive is a breath of fresh air. The pharmacy was busy. Amir saw me waiting and said he would get to it right away and he did. He even checked me out. Amir and the team not only helped those of us filling prescriptions. They went out of their way to help customers that had aisle questions too. I was more than amazed as I observed their level of customer service. I hope they are rewarded for the heart in which they serve. This was an awesome experience.

Top-notch service at H-E-B Pharmacy!
The pharmacy team at the McKinney H-E-B on El Dorado and Custer is always professional, helpful, and kind. They take the time to answer questions, explain prescriptions clearly, and go out of their way to ensure everything is accurate and timely. Whether it’s a routine refill or a last-minute need, they’ve always come through for our family. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Highly recommend this pharmacy if you’re looking for excellent service and peace of mind.

All of my medications get sent here and I love it! The staff is incredible! Even though it's at a huge grocery store, the pharmacy feels like a small local pharmacy! The staff is super kind and attentive. I always feel super comfortable and not just like a number!

They never call / text when the prescription is received, when medication is on back order, or had a hold date. I never receive a notice but I’m somehow signed up for text … I had multiple times just to find out that the medicine should have been filled a week ago but they did not do it or even notify! Walmart process and follow up is wayyyy smother

I have been using H-E-B Pharmacy for years. I moved to McKinney 2 yrs ago and had to use the Frisco H-E-B pharmacy when they opened & then switched to the McKinney H-E-B Pharmacy when they opened. I have always enjoyed the H-E-B Pharmacies I have used. They have been far superior to CVS ( which I used 20+ yrs prior to H-E-B opening in Burleson, Texas, then H-E-B Granbury Texas, then Frisco H-E-B - and finally H-E-B McKinney. I have been on vacation and called H-E-B McKinney to prepay my RX’s so that I could make sure that I would be available to get them all before I made it to the store. I was told that I could not prepay the RX’s that are going to be put back tomorrow only the RX’s that won’t be put back until next week. That makes no sense, I will still need them all and the pharmacy would have to refill the RX’s again if I am not able to get to the store in 2 hrs. I will not come to the store to get them until I know they are ready, which means another call tomorrow to have the pharmacy to redo the RX’s that they won’t let me prepay now. It is not my fault that all 5 prescriptions can’t be filled at the same time. I wasn’t able to get them before I left on vacation 2 weeks + ago and I just got back today. I don’t understand why I can’t prepay all 5 prescriptions at the same time now- all of them are ready, but I have only 2 hrs to come pick them up today- or start all over again tomorrow. I was told I could prepay only the RX’s that would not be put back at end of today. The other two RX’s couldn’t be prepaid because they would be put back tomorrow if I couldn’t pick them up in 2 hrs. ???????? Especially since you know I want them & wanted to prepay . Now- tired and without being able to take a shower, move my suitcases, etc I have only 2 hrs to drive down & get them. I’ve literally been at 2 different airports- 2 different time zones- walked miles - picked up at airport- driven home only to have jump back in a car to get them now because H-E-B won’t let me prepay?? What’s the point in having prepay if you won’t allow it? Not HAPPY. Never had this happen before.Not HAPPY and very tired .

I really like them.They are friendly and helpful, and will let you know if there is an issue on the insurance/provider side that could hold up getting your meds. Their prices for meds you might have to self pay are competitive, and their app updates very quickly when order is ready. It’s been…a complicated year medically and I ESPECIALLY appreciated how if they did not 100% know an answer to a very complicated med question they told me that AND directed me to who would know. Nice not to be left hanging.
Be sure to manage your communication preferences though, because the automatic texts and/or calls and/or email can get annoying…but won’t ding them for that since you have the option of turning it off.
It’s been as good an experience as getting meds can be and I 100% recommend them.

So frustrated with this store. Often when handing the checker the Yellow store coupons the checker may enter only one. This happened to me today. Rrrr! I was also looking for Texas peaches, I asked the gentleman stocking, and he walked me over to a small section of small peaches I said Texas peaches are small, he said yea, I picked up three as my husband loves them. When I got home and pealed off the sticker it said Mac's Pride certified SC grown. So NOT Texas peaches. I guess I'll stick to Market Street.

Love the convenience and proximity and the wonderful staff, but taking a star off due to the fact that the drive-through isn't always open during business hours and not all medications are available yet. I'm sure it's because it's a new location, so I would expect this to improve over time. Friendly staff, though, and personable. They offer free and low-cost health screenings on the 2nd Saturday every month. We have taken advantage of that and appreciate having that option: including free blood pressure check, free glucose, and low-cost cholesterol, A1C, and complete cholesterol pannel. We've switched from CVS because the hours are much better, the staff are nicer, and of course, it's convenient!
