This bank needs to shut down. I called ahead of time before going there because I have large amount of check to cash first they said they will but when I went there they change their mind and said they do 10% cash and rest cashier check I was like wth. How you can you do that. I literally drove an hour only for the check. Please shut down this location not worthy to open and run the business. Corporate is losing business. Ridiculous. 0/10.

The tellers at this McKinney location are the most unfriendly and rude to do business with and its been this way for a long time. Time move my business somewhere else. The tellers should be thankful they have a job really.

I have been doing some work for a company who uses Independent Bank so I have gone to cash my checks a few times in the drive thru. I noticed that no one ever greets me, asks what I need, etc or even says see ya later, they just cash that check and roll you out of there. It's so strange, it's almost awkward. I want so badly to say, thank you or bye or anything but I don't think they would hear me....I guess if you are not a paying customer you don't deserve to be greeted properly.

This is the worst bank ever in 3 months I have had my bank account emptied ( stolen ) and I have found out it is the banks falt. It takes them a month to return your money. They have no fraud prevention. Do not bank with this bank.

I walked into this bank to cash a couple of checks from a client. I do not have an account with them. They have a $5 dollar charge to cash a check if you are a non-customer of them. No biggie.

I walked into this bank to cash a couple of checks from a client. I do not have an account with them. They have a $5 dollar charge to cash a check if you are a non-customer of them. No biggie. Beth made eye contact with me, did not acknowledge me. Did not smile, said hi, I'll be right with you... Nothing. The other rep sitting at the desk in the front decided to say to me after I'd been waiting for about 5 minutes. She also said "have a good day" as I was leaving. The little girl that was working Drive Thru, came around and assisted me as soon as she took care of the customer she was helping. She was friendly. As she was processing my transaction at what I assumed it was her register, one of the gentlemen from the side offices came out and gave Neth a piece of paper. Right in front of my nose, and he also did not bother to say good morning. Customer service is everything and most definitely makes a first impression. In this case, not a good one. These folks are not equally friendly to everyone as I couldn't help to notice how talkative and nice they were to the gentleman in front of me whom happened to mentioned he had 6 accounts with them. I went to my Chase bank down the street afterwards and everyone greeted me as soon as I walked into the door. World of difference!

Very up set with this bank right now. Yesterday I made a deposit and it showed in my account yesterday. This morning I woke up and looked at my account and the deposit that I had made disappeared. Non of the customer service reps where able to help me. I have the slip they gave me yesterday. They said they can't fix it till Monday. I have bills coming out and they don't care. I am missing my money and I need it now......
