I recently had a disappointing experience at Kroger due to the behavior of an employee named Michelle. She displayed rudeness and impatience towards both myself and my mother during our visit. Despite our efforts to navigate the self-checkout process, Michelle's demeanor was unprofessional and disrespectful. It's important for employees to treat customers with kindness and courtesy, and unfortunately, Michelle failed to do so. I hope Kroger addresses this issue to ensure a more positive experience for future customers.

I used to love coming here. Now the produce is always spoiled/going bad. Eggs are more broken than usual. I have to be careful when buying anything because I'll buy expired stuff on accident. I will have to start shopping at another Kroger or a different grocery store that's closer to home. Update: I had given this place another few chances because it is closer and more convenient. I went for the last time a few weeks ago. This store has had a lot of issues with their pricing, such as showing one price on their displays and another price ringing up at the register. And no, I am not talking about their digital coupons or anything like that, I know how to use those. The self check associate named Michelle seems to dislike her job very much, this is also not the first time where I come in and she's either making snarky remarks or overall just seems to loathe the job she holds. There was a problem with pricing on an item that I wanted to purchase so I called her over and she asks me what the problem is. I point at the screen and show her that this item is bringing up a dollar more than it shows on display, she PUSHES my hand to the side and starts tapping on the screen. I have worked in customer service for many years, and I have never thought to touch another person because the manner she did it in was rude and forceful. So I asked her if she was having a bad day so she rolls her eyes and walks away. I will never come here again and I will be informing all of my family and friends not to come here either.

Clean. Lots of organic selection. Helpful staff. Nice environment. Prices are fair for the selection.

I know this isn't the fanciest Kroger but I was in need of a small pack of chicken breast so I stopped by. Not only did they have the small pack, they also had a larger pack, chicken wings you name it!!!! I also snagged some lucky charms for $1.99!! What a steal!!! FYI new ads drop every Wednesday. Check it out and catch the deals!!

One of the worst experiences. I went to the Pharmacy and met Kareth, she calls herself Kat. She was extremely rude, had a major attitude. Charged my card twice and made an excuse when I asked about it. Kat was very unprofessional. I called in to speak with the pharmacist and she was no help, just made excuses for her. I will never do business with the Pharmacy. The store always looks like it's going out of business. Never any cashiers. Do not go there, they are very rude and unprofessional! Beware!

This store is on it's way out. Going the way of Albertsons, Food Lion, and Safeway for the same reasons. No checkers at registers (They expect you to scan your items), reduced selection. Soaring prices. I shopped on Sunday 4-23-2023. I wanted to buy Kroger store brand: Grapefruit juice, sour dough English Muffins, long spear asparagus, and heavy whipping cream since I prefer them to name brands. The only English muffins they had were Thomas brand at three times the cost. There was no grapefruit juice of any brand. The only Kroger canned asparagus was cut rather than long spear. They did have the heavy whipping cream. When I got to checkout there were no cashiers. All the self scan stations were occupied. I should have set down the cream and left. This place is actually customer hostile. I drove a block to Winco and found their store brand English muffins. They did have Florida's Best grapefruit juice which I passed on price. The variety of canned goods was better than Kroger. They had 3 checkers at registers and vacant scan stations. Later in the day we went to the Frisco HEB. They had their store brand grapefruit juice at a competitive price. The Winco English muffins were better than Kroger. The HEB Grapefruit juice was better than Kroger. I have lived in the area for over 30 years. This used to be a good store. It is going down hill fast. They seem to be ready to shut it down. Kroger is planning a new store for Melissa. I don't know why, with the negative image they are creating with their existing stores. HEB is the new sheriff in town. They have superior store brands. They stock their shelves. They never have less than 9 checkers in their Frisco store. Kroger will join the list of has been's like Kmart, Sears, Bed bath and beyond, Piggly Wiggly, Albertsons, etc. if they don't stock product and man their registers.

This store has very poor management. The shelf stock is a hit or Miss for products you are looking for no matter what day you are shopping or the hour. Produce has been been bruised or old and is expensive. Meat prices are very high. Long lines for checkout (both through the help of a checker or the self check lanes) with only one lane open. No one wants to check a cart full of groceries. A bagger once refused to run an item (they forgot to bag) to the customer leaving. A cart collector was asked if he could take one more cart, and he flatly refused saying 'no.' The checkers are generally friendly even though they seem to be overwhelmed. Management needs to take a look at how the store is being run. There are too many improvements that need to be made.

Came to this pharmacy to help my mother pick up her medicine. Her doctor approved filling her medication a few days early. When we called over the phone, the pharmacist, Toby Tyler, was RUDE. He told my mother that even though there was a note on the refill AND even though he verified the ok with my mother's doctor office he wasn't given a "good enough" reason as to why it needed to be filled early and he refused. I accompanied my mother in store for an explaination because a reason is not needed. That is doctor/patient confidential information and protected under HIPPA. Also, after reasearching, none of the requirements for a leagal decline were met for this refusal. Filling early, per her doctor's ok, would not interfere with other medications she is taking, it's not above the recommended dosage and it would not cause her harm (allergic, etc). After clearing that with the pharmacy tech, Gayle Morgan (also RUDE), it because that he didn't want to risk his license in filling it. I asked for Toby's name and license number to file a complaint with the ADA. Both, Gayle and Toby, refused to provide that information stating I could look it up on the website. After pulling out my phone to record him refusing to give me the information he finally offered it up. It should not have to take recording to display on social media in order to get information that is requested. Trying to defer a complaint or review by having patients look up information that can easily be provided to them is disgusting. We WILL be filling a complaint, and not only against the pharmacist. Spare yourself the annoyance of interacting with individuals on a power trip and clearly NOT in the business of helping those in need of medication. DISGUSTING individuals. How do you refuse a doctor's ok even though it doesn't correspond with any of the LEGAL reasons to deny, try to violate HIPPA laws AND suggest the doctor change how he writes his prescriptions this one time (WHICH WOULD BE FRAUD). Kroger, how do you have these people working for you and providing this horrible service?!

This Kroger location has a terrible selection of organic produce and what they do have is often rotten or almost too old to eat. They don't have as much other organic food as other Krogers either. Even their non organic food is often expired. One time I bought some organic grassfed milk there and it wasn't expired, but I got home and tried it and it was sour as if it had been left out of the fridge for an extended time. Half the time, I drive another 5 minutes to go to the other Kroger further west on 380 which never has any of these issues.

This is the closest & most convenient grocery store to us so we go there often. Honestly, the produce is 6 in one... meat selection fair... & for some odd reason they've been out of rubbing alcohol for months. However, the staff is wonderful! Always asking if they can help & how everything is going. Pharmacists are very friendly & helpful too. This is actually our new pharmacy not just out of convenience either. Negatives: 1) There is ALWAYS a lot of garbage in the parking lot. Sometimes you have to dodge pieces getting out of the car. 2) I don't want to be accosted by the banking staff to change banks. I just came in for flu medicine - not a lecture about banking. 3) For the love of god, if you're going to sell plants you need to water them! The huge display of dead (I mean actually yellow) herbs & flowers was just sad & let's face it, not inviting.

McKinney Kroger (Redbud) is not a friendly place!! This location is closest to my home but definitive I'm not coming back. Pharmacy and Deli are the worst! few years ago the pharmacy was great, but with the new manager the service is poor and the people working at the pharmacy are rude.
