After dealing with two very, very, VERY, incompetent banks under Prosperity in Frisco and McKinney I decided to go to a third and last one. Enrique D. helped me in ways I didn’t even know were in his scope. For the two other locations I visited it’s insane the people who “helped” me still have jobs with how incompetent and the lack of training and care they exhibit towards people. Whoever deals with Enrique’s pay he needs to get a raise now.

Poor customer service the teller in the drive thru literally had a Staring match with me. We seeing videos of customers clowning on the working at places. But the worker has to Ck themselves their attitudes like the old Smokey bear use to say only u can prevent forest fire. Meaning if u don't won't extra over the top attitude don't give attitude bc I'm going to match your energy on a higher level.

We had an account with a low balance and were out of state for an extended time unable to access. When I called, I was told that to close it I would either need to go in person (not a possibility at that time) or have the account be at 0 for 30 days.We left the account as is, assuming the monthly fee would quickly take it to $0. Except not only did the monthly fee suddenly start doubling because of an "inactivity fee", but the fees took the balance below $0.I called again and was told again that the account could not be closed without either a zero balance or us being there in person. The lady at that time was able to reverse the charges to bring us back into a positive balance. I asked her if she could just zero out the account instead of bringing it into a positive balance, and she said that was not possible. She said we just needed to try to get in as soon as possible to close the account.I was finally back in town and able to get to the bank about a month and a half later, and of course they had charged more fees that brought it back below zero. This time they insisted that they could not waive those fees and that I would have to pay to bring the account up to zero before it could be closed. The whole process was ridiculous. This is not a bank that is willing to even do the bare minimum. I strongly recommend avoiding them.

My original bank institution has been acquired multiple times. Legacy bank to Prosperity is the latest acquisition. Prosperity has too many small fees due to limited withdraws from Savings (3 a month) and charges if you don't use their ATM's. I moved away from Prosperity bank after the recent merger due to continuous small charges for items that are free at other banks.

My wheelchair lift broke and wasn't able to get back on my truck in the Prosperity Bank parking lot. I was out there for about 30 min in the 97 degree heat trying to fix it. One of the Prosperity employees brought me out a large cup of cold water. All the staff members are very nice and have always taken great care of me. I've been with Prosperity Bank for nearly 20 years and love the customer service. I believe it was called Viewpoint Bank when I first opened my account. Thank you.

I could write a review w/ notable poor, apathetic customer service examples of Prosperity since the YR2020 merger and the last 2 years of Legacy but closing the accounts we've had for 12+ yrs sums up the message in this post. This bank has to be the sorriest example of a serious financial institution and our attempts to let them know of issues has fallen on tone deaf, apathetic ears. Scary, as there can't possibly be any accountability by leadership.

We've been customers since 1999 and have been through all the mergers and acquisitions but Prosperity has been the worst of them all in terms of customer service. We decided to close our account today and interestingly not a single question was asked as to the reason why we were closing the account. I guess that just made us even more confident in our decision!

Your account will get hacked. Mine gets hacked when it was Legacy and when it was Prosperity. Seen the lobby full of people who got hacked. I know that is a fact because the teller told me that's who the people were. Bad experience.

On 02/29/2020 I walked into the Legacy Texas Bank with a personal check written from my client to me personally, I was trying to cash the check ($7000), the clerk asked for ID and I gave him my Texas Drivers license, they called my client to verify (so far everything is understandable) then the clerk told me he needs my social security number which I thought was highly inappropriate he said because the check was so large again, This is BS, the feds law is $9000 but for some reason Legacy has to be different, I'd love to know what the reason for this could be, if its the law fine, if this bank tries to work outside the law legally or not, I think that BS and they should just do they're job and not ask for my social security number in the world we live in today its hard enough keeping track of who has it, beside all of this I sat in line for 30 minutes, while one teller worked on 10 people, one person jumped from window to front, one lazy greeter sat at her desk and said "Sorry about the wait" and one lazier manager poked his head out of his office once or twice to do nothing, I think if I were the manager I would have hopped on one of the other 2 or 3 computers and started trying to thin the line down a bit, lazy, ignorant people.
