For over 20 years, we have utilized storage at this location. The service is exceptional and we have felt like family. Our needs have changed over time but we are grateful for the consistent and on-going professionalism provided. Cody you are doing a great job. Well done!

We had a very positive experience until all of our sudden our rate was doubled after 3 months. No phone call or email to notify. I contacted customer support on their website and was told they occasionally make price changes to adapt for the market. Doubling someone's rate is not an adjustment for inflation, it's taking advantage of your customers. Steer clear, do not rent here.

Life storage on Alma raises rates every 6-9 months. We Rented 10x20 unit, not climate controlled, at a rate of $176; In month 7 -rent raised to
$206; month16 it went to
$238; month 17 it dropped to
$226; and month 22 it hit
$306!
Over the course of 22 mths the rent increased by 73.86%!
I would love to ask their
Employees if they received large Cost of Living raises over the last 22 months. Who doubts they received anything more than 2%?
When we received the notice of the last increase I checked the website to see what a 10x20 rents for today. $149!
Which is 15.3% LESS than the rate we initially rented the unit. ($176)
And, at $149 it’s less than half the rate they expected us to pay had we stayed.
It’s nothing more than greed and IMO, robbery.

My entire move-in experience was great at Life Storage! From the call to the appointment to the greeting and professionalism of Cody Burgess at the Alma location.
The property is very clean and so accessible to where we live!
Cody was informative, helpful and friendly!!
In a customer service industry, this is so important!

5 stars because of Cody. Patrolling property regularly and when seeing my car parked by my bldg, comes in to say hello and check on me offering any assistance I might need. Being a single woman, at my unit sometimes at night, alone, Cody’s presence was comforting and reassuring. The property is always very clean and well lite at night. Gates always functioning. Questions I had were always answered in a friendly professional manner from Cody. He truly has saved me several times over the past 2 years. Thanks Cody!! You’re “the man” and I notice every time I’m there working in my unit, you appreciate and love your job!! Keep up the good work!!

Life Storage is great. Been with them for over 5 years and they have always been customer service oriented. Especially Cody at the McKinney location. I left my unit accidentally unlocked and he went to the trouble to contact me and get it locked while I was out of town. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
