I had a transmission code come up and just wanted them to service the transmission fluid. They agreed to perform a transmission drain and fill for me and ensure the new fluid is topped up right and let me know condition of old fluid. Although I knew it wouldn't solve the problem, I still wanted it done. After driving for a couple of days, I noticed that the car was behaving differently, and not in a good way. Having experience with car repairs, I checked the ATF level and discovered it was overfilled by almost 1 quart. This overfilling would have caused significant damage, especially since my car was already showing transmission warning lights. I corrected the issue myself and contacted the service center the next day. Despite my calm demeanor, they responded defensively and began accusing me. I asked for a partial refund of the labor cost since I ended up fixing the problem myself they didn’t like that at all. While mistakes are understandable, blaming the customer and refusing to acknowledge the mistake is not acceptable. They also claimed they had provided a free diagnostic, which was not the case since they could not pinpoint the problem and simply referred me to a Jeep dealership. I don’t think they are bad mechanics they probably just made a mistake but the way they dealt with it was not acceptable for me. I’ll keep this updated if there’s any new resolution.

I was driving from Grand Prairie to Oklahoma when my suv begin to act up. I found this place, what a gem! I believe the ladies name was Becky when walking in to inquire about repair & the man that worked on my car was Drew. They both were very pleasant and happy ppl. The quickly erased my fears, was able to work me get the part and back on the road within a much shorter time than I anticipated. The price was very reasonable. Very honest business, didn’t take advantage of situation. I will definitely make the drive of in need of repairs in the future.

These guys truly are awesome! I had 2 vehicles misdiagnosed and Economy Transmission was able to correctly ID and repair each. They went out of there way to help me and I sincerely appreciate it. They don't do just transmissions.... they do it all!
