Oak Hollow Golf Course is a good public course in McKinney that reopened in fall 2023 after major renovations. The course is beautiful, fun, and challenging with a nice variety of holes, including long par 3s and fair par 5s. It suits all skill levels, offering room for mishits compared to other public courses. The greens are in excellent condition most of the time, though fairways can be a mess after rain. Facilities include a good range and chipping and putting area. The staff is excellent, super nice, and provides great service, treating guests very well. Pace of play is a stated priority, though it can be slow with backups on holes at times. The course looks and plays great post-renovation, though it got a bit more expensive. There is also a great golf instruction program available. Overall, it is an excellent course with a great future.
Beautiful course, not unlike others where the proper pace of play isn’t really enforced. At one point we were one of 5 groups on Hole 10. 2 waiting to tee off, one teeing off, one in the middle of the fairway and one on the green. Seems a bit extreme

We booked a regular casual game here and were treated like royalty. They have the carts all prepped and staged for us, worked with us on a last minute change, and kept us updated the entire time. An excellent course, with excellent staff. Keep it up y'all, and thanks for the great game!!
