We brought in gently used clothing that both of our kids outgrew. We were told that it was bug infested! (It was not bug infested) we looked through all of it prior to bringing it in and the items were in good/clean condition- washed and reputable brands such as Nike and Carters. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. The ladies at the counter were rude. Harassing us to pu our items before closing over the phone and when we arrived (before the time we were told to arrive) my husband turned around the car to put our boxes back in and one of the ladies ran out and waved us down thinking we were running off and dumping our items on them. They treated us like we were dirty and they were very distrustful and just mean in general. They accepted hardly anything and gave us only $15. I definitely do not recommend selling to this place or supporting this poorly run business

Omg this is the most organized thrift store I have ever been in my life. And everything was colored coordinated which helped me so much cause I was in a rush and the prices are too good!

Great place with a friendly staff. Great prices for clothes when you know the kids are going to outgrow them quickly and they don't care if shirts have a confused looking dragon on them, or a truck with no wheels , or some random embroidered fruit. Then you can just donate them back for someone else when you're done. I didn't pay close attention to the age ranges but I can at least be certain they at least have clothes from infant up to 12 years old. The racks are very well labeled by age and the clothes are even sorted by color and shade. They have a very large selection too so there is something for everyone. I made a joke about funny shirt designs but kidding aside I found it neat that there were so many cool random patterns and prints. A nice departure from racks of major retailer designs, and most kids under 10 still dress for their own tastes rather than everyone else so you just can't go wrong.
I love that places like this exist.

I was really excited to shop the $10 Clearance Bag Sale at Once Upon a Child in McKinney this morning. When we arrived, the staff gave us bags and explained which tags to look for. I spent over an hour searching through racks and carefully picking out items to make cute back-to-school outfits for my kids.
But when I went to check out, they suddenly started saying that several of the items “weren’t actually clearance,” even though they had the correct tags. They claimed that other customers must have switched the tags, and just removed them from my items. It was incredibly frustrating. Half the outfits I had planned are now incomplete, and it honestly ruined the whole experience.
I understand things get chaotic during sales, but this should have been handled better — either by double-checking inventory before the sale or honoring what customers picked based on what they were told to look for.

Don’t waste your time! I dropped off 4 bags of clothes. Lots of them were name brand clothes that have barely been worn. Time they estimated was 2hr and 45 min to go through the clothes, which was fine. Once I got the notification after 2hr 30 min, they only took a handful of clothes. I noticed that 3 bags were not touched, not even opened. Lots of justice brand, under armor, Nike, boutique brands still folded the same way I brought them in. They admitted to not even opening them. I seriously wasted time today for them to not even do their job. They said they can check me back in. Nope, I will be taking my clothes to a different store. Seriously don’t waste your time

We love buying and selling clothes here! There is a great selection of brands, usually all new/nearly new quality. Lots of shoes and toys as well. The place is well lit and bathroom is clean!! Staff is always kind and helpful. It’s so much fun to shop here because you never know what you’re going to find. Not to mention it’s way more sustainable than buying brand new clothes for littles that grow so quickly!

I love the clothing and baby gear selection here! Buying is very straightforward, but like any small business can take time so plan accordingly. Selling items is about on par with other local children's resale shops. I think my only critique is that when I sell items I take a lot of care to ensure they're clean, orderly, and neatly folded. More than once I've received rejected items in a messy pile thrown back into the bag. If rejected items could be sorted so I know what's a hard pass and what was found to have a stain on it, that'd be helpful. I understand the staff isn't responsible for doing this, but it's a small customer service action that would go a VERY long way for busy moms trying to keep children's clothing within household budget.
