I had an amazing experience with @_hair_by_jelly_ , she was amazing and patient and she did a great job on my wife’s hair , such an amazing person and very caring and I highly recommend her so yall can get your hair done ! I truly appreciate Southern Sisters Salon in McKinney! I was so grateful they were able to squeeze me in for a last-minute Saturday morning appointment, and I was matched with Nina—what a blessing that was! 🤩
Nina was not only professional and skilled, but incredibly kind and gentle. She carefully assessed my hair and styled it strand by strand with soft waves—perfect for my graduation cap that day. Her attention to detail and care made me feel pampered and confident.
I also loved chatting with her—Nina is actually an executive assistant to a principal and has a real enthusiasm for accounting! It was such a joy to connect with someone who is both talented in the beauty world and passionate about her work outside the salon. Her positive energy and kindness made the experience even more special.

I LOVE this place. Everyone is so friendly, feels like family. I get my hair done by Serena almost every month- I always need a new change. She is the best in the biz! I change my hair A LOT and Serena always knows how to get to what I want.

I had a BAD hair cut done at another salon and after another salon booking didn't happen on time because the stylist didnt show up I googled salons and took a shot at a walk in. Courtney was with another client but was able to take me right after and fix my hair enough that it wasn't a hot mess. She was gracious and did a great job patching up what I had to work with. I will 100% be going back.

Do not get your haircut by Serena, she messed up my hair pretty bad. I asked for a pretty simple haircut and my hair got butchered. A little above the shoulder cut and straight across, no layers nothing extra special or hard to do. Yet my hair is uneven is so many places, I wanted to warn others so they don’t have their hair messed up like mine.
I did reach out to her and let her know, she did refund my money and offered to fix it but I can’t take that chance again since I can at least put it up for now and hide it until
I can find someone who can actually fix it.

I just had a curly haircut with Serena and she was amazing and sooo fast!! She made me feel very comfortable as I have a lot of anxiety.. we also watched the Big Bang theory as she cut my hair! It was great I will definitely go here again!!
