Just joined today - enjoying the gym and it’s 24/7 hours. I am a member at Destination Dallas and LA Fitness, but neither of those are 24/7. I will update this after a month, but so far this gym is legit. All equipment in great working order. Clean. The entry system was very easy to use.

Really good gym, they do enforce the entry through the app but it’s understandable and that’s just the gym rules 🤷♂️ regardless of that, gym has been good no issues so far. I go straight to workout in and out so I’m a bit anti social, yet the other members say what’s up or hi as in a good way. Should add a pose room?? Maybeee 👉👈

Excellent gym with friendly people. The best part about this gym is the equipment where you can get an excellent workout. The gym is never too crowded and the price is reasonable. Gym is always clean and family friendly. Best gym for the money in the area.

I've trained BJJ for 7 years now (purple belt) in gyms all over the world; Ireland, Florida, Virginia, Texas, California, and beyond. I trained BJJ, Muay Thai, MMA and wrestling at TBTs for 10 months and am here to say it is by far the worst BJJ gym I've been to. I singed up because TBTs was cheap and had a shower. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I should have paid the cancellation fee when after having already trained for several days, without seeing me roll AC the owner introduced himself to me by threatening to take away my purple belt because I didn't have a IBJJF certificate.
I lost 2 weeks of training at TBTs drilling guard pulling (which is a technique that has gotten people killed in many real life self-defense situations).
The overall class structure completely ignores personal development by tracking progress with nothing more than attendance punch cards. In the jiujitsu world we call these places "belt-factories" where it doesn't matter how good or bad you're doing you get promoted based on attendance alone. Additionally They have a very high turnover rate for lead black-belt instructors (red flag) so the program is always in flux and or being ran by whatever purple belt they can dupe into covering classes.
Their membership system is ran though an app on each individual member's phone requiring they have the latest phone or else the system will glitch causing payment failures and even stopping a member's ability to open the front door (which sucks a 4:00am when you're trying to get a workout in before work)
Once I decided to leave I verbally informed the owner I was cancelling my membership and directly thereafter at his behest I emailed a 30 day cancellation notice. fully knowing I have only ever had one card on file they emailed me asking "what card do you want to use for the cancellation fee". When I missed that email they had no issues charging my card two more monthly membership fees. When I emailed them about the charges they knew exactly what card to charge the $180 cancellation fee to, on top of the two additional months, and refused to refund the two additional months threatening to send me to collections if I disputed it with the bank.
I felt the cancellation fee was me investing in my future and so was more than happy to pay it but it's now going to cost me $360 to escape this sinking ship. still worth every penny.

The best gym you could go to in McKinney. There’s peace and love there and all the equipment you need.

While still new and in the middle of some growing pains. I have to say this is the best place to go work out in the area. The owners are real honest and up front about what they're about and why they are running the gym. We love their passion and commitment.

We love the gym!! It’s great for the whole family. Owners: Fatima is super sweet and AC keeps the kiddos in line and knows his stuff. We love the other Coaches too. We do miss the Owner’s Daughters helping with the classes though. Hopefully they’ll pop in from time to time. It’s great encouragement for the little girlies in class. Overall, great clean, safe gym. We’ve recommended them to several neighbors. I feel blessed to have stumbled upon TBT!

Amazing gym! They offer multiple classes daily for the entire family and we can work out 24 hours. Fatima and Ac are so helpful, they keep everyone motivated and push everyone to do their best. It’s easy to stay consistent at this gym when the classes are great and have a good variety of people at all different stages of their health journey. Everyone helps everyone here.

Finally moved to the area and can come to TBT regularly! Secure, clean and FULL of the needed equipment. Super friendly owners and members. Hard to leave my home gym, but this gym family made the transition even easier!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a month now, we have so far only met one owner (the wife- Fatima) who has greeted us with respect. We come here to just get our workout in, and get out, no wasted time, don’t bother anyone and always clean up after ourselves. We have been following their regulations as instructed by each of us scanning. Today (5/7/24), As we both scan and walk into the gym, we are greeted with the other owner (AC) who we have not met, approaches us in a hostile manner and is screaming at us to walk back out, scan, close the door on each other(this is exactly how he said it first thing he says as he sees us: “YOU NEED TO GET OUT AND SCAN AGAIN YOU CANNOT COME IN TOGETHER”)which is very redundant, what kind of gym access rule is that? Fatima only ever mentioned that as long as we both scan, it is our pass to come in. You as the gym owner, should never speak to people in that manner, just because you teach fighting classes does not give you the right to approach and square up on anyone you see. Clearly if we were not members, we wouldn’t have access to the gym. No where in your policy or in the facility are signs that states couples can’t enter together (I find it very weird that this triggered the owner -AC). After he approached us in that manner, we immediately told him to cancel our membership. He proceeds to argue and starts cussing us out and calls my significant other the “B” word as we are walking out. I guess he was surprised that my boyfriend did not accept his behavior. We have this in recording to show proof of his behavior. A much better solution is if you do not want people without a membership to enter just hire someone to stay at the desk to monitor who comes in to better suit your rules/regulations. You cannot mandate someone to follow a rule that only you know about. We’ve been coming here for a month and no “staff”member has informed us of this “rule” We have been going to gyms for over 10+ years we know when there are rules that should be followed. We are not children for you to scream at for something so small that can easily be said without being hostile & aggressive. You think your tone is normal, but it was not and you might want to check yourself twice. There’s a specific way to approach things in professional manner. This is just a warning to anyone who go or plan to go here, to be aware of the type of people these owners are. We are very supportive of small businesses and prefer to pay money to gyms that are not big franchises, but sadly this is not the type of gym that is worth paying for. I honestly did not dive into all the negative reviews, but now that I have encountered this situation, I can see now what people have been talking about. The fact that your wife had to call us first to apologize for your behavior and explain to us the excuses for the way you are (and she knows your behavior) that is absurd if you ask me.
Sucks that I have to make such a detailed and negative review which I never do, but people need to know the kind of gym they are walking into. P.S since one of the owners likes to deny the truth, which will most likely happen to mine, I have majority of it in recording. We can always pull up the proof.

I was really looking forward to signing up at a local family owned gym. Just got news about the type of ownership this place has along with the lack of respect for the people that support his business. Just do yourself a favor and read the response AC the owner has to say with a 1 star review.

I’ve actually only ever wrote good reviews on google, due to people just asking me to and me loving to help out a business.
Today will be my first ever bad review.
I’ve been a member to this new gym in Anna for about a month now. Thank god not a month. So they can’t try and gauge me for random extra payments.
As there policy is month to month. I didn’t even get to complete my first month!
Anyways. I went To go get a sesh in as I’ve finally freed up from work.
I brought My friend who lives in the same neighborhood with me along. And we went with the intention for my buddy to sign up. And for us to have a new gym close to home!
At the door they had a new entry system since I had first signed up. As it was only 5:30 on a Sunday I had no doubt an employee would be there as most gyms close at 8 on Sundays. As I thought there was indeed a coach there who let us in. He guided me through the new app and told my friend of the day pass. We started the conversation off by just asking if we could just sign him up instead of the day pass. He explained to us we have to sign up through the owners. So we just paid the 20 dollar fee for my buddy. Downloaded an app to sign his waiver of liability and went on with our workout.
Man i loved The gym! Awesome equipment, cool atmosphere and not crowded at all.
As I’m leaving the owner walked in (the wife) and I tell My buddy awesome you can actually sign up now the wife is here! She walks up to us asks who my friend is and why I’m sneaking him in??????????????
What is crazy to me is their employee a hour earlier had reached out to AC the owner and gave me his number to text and I texted Him immediately to get my app working.
Also this employee took the 20 dollars from us and said we were good to go ?!?!?!?
So then the wife calls the husband. Starts the conversation with “please don’t cuss them out”
And then the husband Mr AC proceeds to cuss us out?!?!
As I’ve read all the negative reviews already I’m sure you will respond to this AC and you won’t own up for the fact you really don’t understand how to speak with people with respect. I’ve never even met you? And that’s how you speak to me? What did I do to you other than pay you for a membership that gave me the access to get cussed out by the owner? If I wanted to be hazed I would have stayed in the military atleast I get Payed instead of paying them.
You have something awesome with the gym. And I hope It prospers. Figure it out man.
