I've shopped here for 5 years now and I have from time to time seen expired or rotten food left out on the shelves. Since it was the pandemic I looked the other way, but just 2 weeks ago I purchased a package of ham that expired 2 MONTHS ago!! I've filed complaints with the DHHS and Tom Thumb's customer service, but nobody seems to care. Stay away from this place if you don't want to get food poisoning!

Did a pickup order and unfortunately I had to go back in and speak w management due to items were not given but charged for. Dates for vegetables expired in 2 days or said there was not an item I ordered. So I went inside and found everything I ordered that they did not. Management was good about it and took care of everything for me. So I will be shopping there again.

One of my favorite grocery stores in McKinney. Great service, clean, good produce and meats. Friendly staff and seldom any wait to check out. I will drive 12 miles to this store rather than go to HEB that is 1/2 mile away. Love Tom Thumb.

This has been one of the best places to shop at thus far being in Texas! Everyone is super friendly and helpful! Today I had two wonderful women help me, Alyssa and Linda! I am nine months pregnant and they went out of their way and helped me carry my dog food and water to make sure that I was not lifting anything heavy! They were so sweet and I am extremely grateful!🥰
