Towne Lake Park in McKinney is a peaceful and clean outdoor space with many features. It has a playground, sand volleyball courts, covered picnic tables, restrooms, and a fishing dock. Mature shade trees provide some relief from the heat, making it a good spot for morning walks, picnics, and outdoor activities. The park includes a pond with walking paths around it, which are well-connected and suitable for walking, biking, and dog walks. It is also a popular place for fishing with children. Visitors have enjoyed its quiet atmosphere and the friendly, helpful people. Although there is some ongoing construction related to sewer work, it does not affect the overall appeal of the park. During warmer days, visitors should bring sunscreen and insect repellent due to bugs and sun exposure. The park is also a lovely setting for parties and even weddings. Overall, Towne Lake Park is a nice, versatile place that offers outdoor fun and relaxation.
Very nice little lake with some ducks. The downside is that there is a fair amount of noise from highway 75.

Such a beautiful park, long tails, ability to rent canoe and paddle boats, bathrooms actually ok for a public park restroom, very nice view! They even have a horseshoe pit!

Went for a walk with my 3-week-old, and I loved that the recreation center was very clean and cool inside. The bathrooms are clean and the trails around the rec center were very shaded, and just a really nice place to sit and enjoy the fresh air.
