Absolutely horrible customer service. I dropped off a package to be returned to Amazon and it showed up on my front door the next day. They told us to drop the package and they will place the label. When I called the store they took no responsibility. The manager was rude, no help and placed blame on us.

After many visits to this store for copies, scanning and other shipping services- my visits here are over.
They insisted on charging $14 for a tiny box to use with an Amazon return when I had packed the item in the original mfg box-- (it was a pillow!)
When I returned the item on Amazon I selected the option for box & label to be provided at Amazon.
I have spent 1000's of dollars at this store but never again- they want to rip you off.
I would avoid this store and crooked shipping policies!

Employee tried to tell me that the lowest price of shipping was the price with additional insurance. When I pressed him on it he was very insistent that I needed insurance.
Finally gave me the lower price, but did not feel comfortable leaving my package there after being told many times how much I needed the insurance for a package like this.

Update: When I visited the store, Mike helped me submit a claim. While I am disappointed in the initial customer service and that my package was broken, he helped me toward a resolution when I went to the store in person. UPS ought to have handled my package with more care, however, I also should have cushioned the package more sufficiently. I was initially very upset as this was a sentimental item that also holds fair financial value. Now I am upset but understand how I (and UPS/UPS store) could have handled the situation better.———I used the McKinney UPS Store located in the Adriatica district to ship a package to my cousin in New Hampshire. The package was damaged in transit and is now being returned to the store. When I called the Manger, Mike, he avoided the responsibility of UPS store in the matter. I paid $74 for the shipment and wanted a refund on the shipment cost. Mike refused to refund the shipping cost. After he understood that I wanted a refund immediately, he said he needed to get some things done and will be terminating the call. He hung up on me. I will not be using this store at all in the future, and will definitely spread the word of the poor service of this location and the manger, Mike’s, terrible
customer service.

Edit: the Manager rang me up, was inflexible about the $3.44 charge said its the owners policy — is that UPS policy? Strange. It’s a franchise and they charge $3.44 to PRINT the mailing label from a return email if you don’t have a QR code. I’ve never seen that and I’ve been to tons of UPS stores. — oh and they won’t accept a UPS account to charge.

The associate, Mia, was so helpful & friendly. She processed my shipments quickly and efficiently. I will definitely come back to this location again.

Absolutely worst customer service.
Went in store 15 mins before closing time. Waited in queue. Every one in queue were told that system wouldn’t work after closing time. Come on, everyone knows it works.
Why make everyone stand in line with packages in hand only to kick the out.

This is the worst UPS store in the area hands down. Don’t believe the good reviews, there have been multiple times I’ve had issues here. Ever dread going somewhere? This is one of those places.

I went by UPS several days ago to return an item to Amazon, but I didn’t have the box. A gentleman tried to help me when we both realized I needed a return box for the ITEM. I took it away, but before I left the store he was told to delete The transaction in the system and I was told that I could return it later. Stopped by today at 6:52 pm and was greeted by a person who eventually was told he was the manager. However, I received the worst customer service that I had ever received here at this UPS in Adriatic Village. I was missing tape on my box. He explained to me that he could give me one piece of tape to tape, one end of the box, I told him I had never experience that before, but I would supply my own tape apparently if I could not have it to close my box. Then I was told I would have to pay a packing charge under his rules because everyone else was doing it wrong if they were giving out tape. As we proceeded I realized that I no longer had the return label because the original transaction was not deleted in the system. He then told me I would have to contact Amazon and get another return label. I told him that the label had been deleted a couple of days ago in the system and I should be able to find the label in my email. He went on to tell me if the person that originally scanned in the item did not deleted properly, I would need a new label and he also went on to tell me how insubordinate that person was that scanned in my package. Also, he went on to tell me about how useless This person was and untrainable. I told him I didn’t feel like that was my business and i expressed my feeling. I explained to him What i do recall the person trying to help me and I was so disappointed in a managers behavior to put down an employee and not help a customer.

Had a great experience yesterday at this location! Was helped by Whit (I might have messed up his name) who was very friendly and helpful, and I was in and out easily. No wait either!

First of all, it's rare when one employee makes the difference in me having a good experience at a store or restaurant, but this guy did just that. I could tell he was new, but he was extremely nice and accommodating. I believe his name was Whit or Witt. My day had been a frantic mess, and this guy had me walking out with a smile. It's sad that good customer service is so rare these days, but this gives me hope.
