Chloe is a 4 months old miniature dachshund and a full of energy dog. Valerie was great with her, with simple commands we were able to change some bad behaviors and we started crate training. Chloe and us had fun while learning from Valerie. We really recommend Smarty Paws Dog Training as it improved our relationship with our pet.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Smarty Paws! From the very first session, it was clear that she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her training. Every lesson was well-paced and thoughtfully tailored to our dog’s needs and our family’s lifestyle.
She took the time to explain not just what to do, but *why*—which made it so much easier for us to reinforce positive habits at home. We’ve already seen growth in our dog’s behavior, confidence, and focus. Walks are calmer, commands are followed more consistently, and our whole family feels more connected to our pup.

I learned a lot about training my puppy and positive reinforcement. I wanted to work with potty training a little more, but I realize it is different than a command and takes time. We did get some good pointers and my puppy ans me learned a lot of useful things.

Valerie did an amazing job with our 6 month old golden. She was able to address all of our needs and also educate us while training our pup. We are extremely happy with our results and appreciate her hard work!

Valerie with Smarty Paws was the perfect trainer for our little Cavalier (Gracie). She taught us so many different commands we can use to help make day to day life with our fur baby much flow much better. Valerie has the perfect demeanor for the job! We will be calling her back when our other puppy is ready for training, and we highly recommend her.

I enjoyed watching our little Bella grow and learn during her basic training right at home! It was awesome to see her progress at her own pace. Now, she sits and stays on her mat when we go out in public and listens to all the basic commands! I absolutely recommend Smarty Paws Dog Training to every puppy owner—it's been a fantastic experience!

We had a great experience with our trainer and I feel that Zoe, my 16 month old Havapoo, learned a lot. I will continue to practice what we learned and would like to do more work with Valerie as Zoe gets older.

Valerie has been a true lifesaver for us! We rescued a schnauzer puppy, Luka, that had some issues. The vet diagnosed him with fear aggression and we were devastated! So I called Smarty Paws and Valerie came to the rescue! After her first evaluation she said he didn’t have fear aggression and that he was acting like a spoiled rotten teenager-lol! So we worked with Valerie and now Luka is calm, accepting of other people and very obedient! She really helped us break Luka’s bad habits!! I highly recommend Smarty Paws, they are the best!

Valerie is Amazing. We have corrected the behaviors that needed correcting. So nice to be able to walk my dog on a leash without the pulling. The truth is, dogs are really smart. Owners are the ones who really need to be trained. I am guilty as charged, but we are on a new path..
