Me my husband and my daughter - all of us are big fan of Dr. Helal. He has been seeing my kid since we moved here. I am so so happy that I have found him. He listens and he makes us and my daughter comfortable by starting a conversation and then ease the way to the diagnosis. My daughter loves him!
Absolutely amazing practitioner!!!
I only have one issue that sometimes it is hard to get hold of the front desk office over the phone.

The only reason they are receiving 2 stars and not 1 star is because of the doctors. I have not had a bad experience until today. Whoever your office manager is, she needs to be talked to about customer service skills. She is extremely rude and has a horrible attitude. I caught her in a line after I emailed documents and she tried to say she read the documents. I call back after receiving an email from her, she never read the full document. After about an hour or 2 I received another call stating they still wouldn't be able to help with with filling out the form that tbe pcp has to fill out. I call back and I am met with a horrible attitude, the phone is answered and met with hold. While I was in hold of 7 minutes, she comes back to the phone with a horrible attitude. Not only did she have an attitude she argued with me. I had to school her on what a pcp can and can't do as far as forms. When I asked to speak to the office manager conveniently that is who I was speaking to. After the encounter with her, I will not be returning. She has ruined the whole experience. You are going to loose a lot of people because of her horrible attitude towards the parents of your patients. You can be a great doctor but if your staff treats people horrible then the experience is ruined.

We took our son in for an Urgent Care fever and ear infection. When I called to ask for the amount I was told that it would be 150 which I paid in advance. The receptionist was rude to my husband and the staff was not friendly. Even though I had explained the situation over the phone 10 minutes before my husband got there and we just needed the ear drops for the infection, he has tubes and I had already talked to the ENT, they kept asking why they were there. It is one thing to ask once to confirm, but 3 times?! Then they tested my son for flu, rsv, covid, influenza assay without our permission and charged us an extra 132 for it! Never again!
My husband left pissed off cause they kept slamming doors and being very rude.

This is not an urgent care for your fish. I feel like the name is a little misleading. I was excited for like one minute thinking that there was gonna be a place for me to take my goldfish when they got sick. But no,
they only treat children here.

We have been taking our newborn here and have had such a fantastic experience so far! The front desk is so helpful and kind, and both Dr. Hilal and the nurse practitioner, Becca, are incredibly knowledgeable. They answer all of our many questions as first time parents with patience and compassion. They’re gentle with our daughter and take the time to give her a thorough examination. We are so grateful that we found Goldfish Pediatrics!

Dr.Hilal is seriously amazing. He is so thoughtful, thorough and caring. My son has been seeing him since he was born 2 yrs ago and he loves Dr.Hilal. All of the staff are great and we never have issues getting in for sick visits.

My daughter was showing signs of an ear infection late in the evening when we were out to eat, so we decided to bring her over to Goldfish to see if she could be seen. The receptionist kindly told us that we could only be seen by appointment only and they were full for the rest of the evening. We went to get back in the car, and the Doctor heard our daughter crying and said he would be happy to squeeze her in because he could tell she was hurting. She was diagnosed with an ear infection and prescribed antibiotics quickly. I was so grateful for this compassionate Doctor taking time to treat my little girl when he wasn’t obligated to simply because he cared. It is so refreshing to see a Doctor display the sort of kindness we experienced today; we are lucky to have him in Melissa. Highly recommend.

Do not risk the health of your child with this doctor. He will misdiagnose and your child may have to pay the price for it. My son was misdiagnosed, we took him to Hilal 3 times and he didn't advise proper testing for h1 viral. Even when we told him he has trouble breathing his response was he should breathe from nose that's why it looks funny and the very next day he ended up in emergency with pneumonia and one of his lungs was diminishing, was on oxygen support for 3 nights. We have changed our pediatrician posting this if anyone has doubt or surprise by Hilal's advice get a second opinion before it's late. In my family's opinion he's not to be trusted. And Hilal replied that I don't understand the erratic nature of virus, he's right I dont because I am not MD, erratic nature of virus I expect and MD to cover all the bases and he didn't advise to get PCR test done which would have exposed the H1 virus, I believe all parents would want a pediatrician who cover all bases, we took the child to him multiple visits, it seems he's only interested making more visits to him so he can mint his dollars with no regard to child health. Half information from him that my son was seen on Thursday only and he went to emergency on Friday, I have records showing he went to Tuesday as well. I have a right of opinion, when my opinion doesn't get Hilal approval he outright and blatantly says I am blaming him.
