Adding this review just because I hate CVS as a whole so much. Can never ever leave with your prescriptions in a timely manner. No one answers the phone, the line is always 10+ minute wait. Plus this location closes from 1-2. The only possible way to make cvs more inconvenient, close in the middle of the day. I just hate cvs overall and wish I didn't have to use them but unfortunately the only pharmacy in the area

Next level horrible! Even before C19 the pharmacy doesn't answer the phone, delays in filling prescriptions, long drive thru lines. Horrible customer service. HORRIBLE!! They shouldn't be trusted with such responsibility if they're unable to serve their community.

If I could give a lower rating for the pharmacy itself I would. Unfortunately this one is the closest to where i live. No matter whether you go in the drive-thru or inside, expect to be waiting 30+ minutes. I have never had so many problems with picking up prescriptions. Whether it be them giving me the wrong one then telling me the right one won't be ready for several days, or giving me the wrong one then telling me they can't issue a refund because I drove off with it(even though the package is still sealed), something is always amiss. Majority of the staff is rude, especially if you have a complaint even if it was a mistake on their end. And definitely don't trust the "hElPfUl" automated texts, best bet is to call and double check every little thing. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy if you have the option.

The 1 star review is on the pharmacy only not the store itself. I have to pharmacy with CVS per my insurance; and well this is the one closest to my home. The pharmacy at this location is terrible.... and this was pre COVID. I understand the world is short staffed, but this place was like this prior to COVID. The drive through is not worth sitting in; usually I have to go inside to get our meds. The line inside is just as long sometimes though. I always allow myself a 30 minute window when I show up; because you're going to wait. They're texting app isn't always accurate; and well sometimes it takes days for them to even fill the script. And it's not special order meds. Sometimes there's 5 people working and other times 2 people, but the wait is still long no matter what. Just know if you come here, you're going to be waiting

Súper convenient store to have especially until we get a grocery store. Always coming here for last minute items. They have self checkout registers which is nice. Also, I see bad reviews on the pharmacy, but I've never had any issues getting my scripts filled. Perhaps there are things that is out of their control?

Went to CVS to pick up my grandmas prescription. Waited in line for over 25 minutes as usual. Got to the window finally right at 8. Without saying a word the guy shut the closed gate in my face. It was so rude. The customer service at this pharmacy is unbelievable.

Always AT LEAST a 15 min wait in the pharmacy drive through. They have run out of prescriptions without notifying and takes an act if Congress for them to advise other CVS pharmacies that have it in stock. I miss the Med Pro. Like with most CVS locations, hopefully a Walgreens pops up closer than McKinney. The store part is okay.

The worst CVS Pharmacy ever. I don't know if they are under staffed or just terrible. I've already transferred my prescriptions to a new location.

Called at 11:00am on 12/17 regarding prescription. Was told the prescription would be ready by 1:30pm. Arrived at 2:30pm, prescription was still not filled. Was told to pull back around in drive thru. Now I'm waiting even longer....

Customer service there is horrible, I wish I could leave negative stars! I go to get my flu and dtap shot and was told it would be 15 minutes. This was at 4:30pm, 25 min later at 4:55pm no one comes to see me so I go back up to the counter and ask how much longer since I had to leave to take my stepson to football practice in the next 10 minutes. I was told it would be done in that time. Of course, 10 minutes later still no one comes over so I walk up and say to cancel my order and give me my money back. As I say that the pharmacist behind the counter says " you have to wait at the doctor's office don't you?? " Guess he forgot where he was since this is a cvs and not a doctor's office but that is besides the point. So then I tell him you know your smart a** comments don't help this situation you could have easily told me sorry we are a little behind, it will be a little bit longer than expected but instead they just stay quiet and treat me like crap because I'm annoyed at how long this is taking. And since I snapped back the pharmacist then calls the cops because I was such a threat. Needless to say won't be going there ever again!

By far, this is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Prescriptions are never ready when they say it will be ready. I sat numerous TI es for over an hour to get my script that was supposed to be done already. Just stand around and watch how many people don't get their meds on time. It's sad as cvs in Allen was great. This is some back assward service and not worth your time or money. Try McKinney instead.

This is the worst cvs. It's been over a week since I put in my RX and I still don't have my RX. They said that it's up to the vendor when the orders are placed. I have never heard of such a thing. This is after I have received 3 text saying that they just placed the order.. but some how a week later I still don't have my medication. So their solution was to call my dr. And have another RX sent to a different pharmacy. I would not recommend this cvs ever. If I could give them no stars I would.

Super weirded out and disappointed in this pharmacy. We moved from Mckinney and never had issues with CVS. Messing up names on my family's prescriptions twice now. I'm wondering if they're careless.. my doctor confirmed the script was indeed what he prescribed but- the name.. yup not me. No wonder why they had issues with the insurance.
