We just completed our new home build on our lake property and have been nothing but pleased with Tilson homes and their employees. From the start our sales coordinator Xochiti was patient, communicative and helpful to our contractor, Eli who helped walk us through everything to the final clean up. They built it in a timely matter and you can see the high quality workmanship in all the details. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a quality new home.

My neighbor is having this company build his home for him. These inconsiderate Builders showed up at 4:30 in the morning on a weekday with a concrete pump to pour there slab. I myself work in commercial concrete and the rule is within 500 ft of a residence you cannot have any machines running till 7:00 a.m.
These Builders are 100% inconsiderate didn't even have the courtesy to knock on the door the day before and warn us or even apologize that day for showing up so early.

Poor workmanship through the build process. Found mistakes daily. Elusive sales process with a bait and switch approach.
“Dedicated builder” is running multiple projects/homes at a time. Subcontractor pool they use is terrible on their best day. Had several re work items on tile, framing, paint, floors, etc.
Warranty process is even worse. Poor accountability and pass the work to the homeowner. Run don’t walk away from this builder.
And yes I am a customer.

Tilson Homes is a top-notch builder.
Courtney in the Waco office is very professional and very helpful. Every step in the building process is carefully planned out. This will be our second build using Tilson and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I'll start by saying the process and experience with Tilson was amazing. We are very happy with our home overall. It is quality built and they were able to accommodate a lot of customization that we wanted... However, I would not work with them again solely based on the fact that they work exclusively with Kent Moore cabinets... At least they did when I built. Kent Moore is the lowest and crappiest quality I have seen. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with our cabinetry and I was pretty much left with "this is as good as it will get" after several rounds of having them come out to "fix" issues... I will eventually rip it all out and have a different cabinet company come in... It's a lot of time and money out of my pocket because Tilson chooses to work with a known low quality cabinet maker... Just read some of Kent Moores reviews on yelp... Horrible. It makes no sense seeing how the rest of Tilson stuff is quality and their work was quality.

Cheyanne, thank you for the assistance and information you provided me several months ago when I first came to meet with you. Even though I decided not to build, you were so helpful in providing information and guidance on the home building process. This information was highly beneficial to me as I moved forward in deciding what I wanted to do.

They built our beautiful home for us. Our dream house. It is simply amazing. But the bank has decided they have a problem financing as they agreed. Point is, Tilson has been extremely patient thru this ordeal and we couldn't be more grateful and blessed that they just want us to live in our home. I can't thank them enough. So as we still wait or sue the bank, they are there patiently waiting. Not sure how long but we are doing the very best we can to get something going. And Cheyanne at the Melissa Tx office is a pro. Go let her help you build your dream home. Thank you so much Cheyenne and Tilson! We look forward to moving into our wonderful home soon.Service: Garage design & building

I registered client prior to our visit and was there at first meeting and during planning stage. After several months in, Builder rep told buyer to take me off contract for a better price. I have papertrail, ample proof and even reached out to reps boss, ownership, corporate, etc. They dont care. REALTORS BEWARE and BUYERS RUN-unethical and illegal.

Terrible quality, have low expectations. Their subs will also trash the neighborhood, so your neighbors won't be happy! Trash is everywhere all the time, wind or not respect people's property and manage your people!
