A complete treasure in an unexpected cove, I really enjoyed myself here. Judy and Sasha were so lovely and kept me company with good conversations while I ate. After I was done I walked around as it’s also a very cute boutique filled with everything from clothes and jewelry, to candles and honey! Just an eclectic eccentric place. Not to mention the sweet tea was delicious.

The fresh roasted coffee was really good, and the warm-out-of-the-oven bread pudding was simply the best!

I had the best ever chicken noodle soup today. It was every bit homemade, and the iced tea was also delicious. Thank you!

VERY warm and cozy place. Good coffee, it's quiet, there's plenty of seating, and homemade pies ta'boot! They also have a selection of custom honeys, jellies, jams, pickles, peppers, sandwiches, teas, candles, soaps, salts, gifts, and local art.

After years of driving by on the weekend, I came by during the week and had to stop in. Best breakfast EVER. Old country store atmosphere with two great ladies helping.

Quaint is the word! This please was in side of highway 287 as I was driving home to Dallas. Needed some coffee and ran into this spot. Super cute place. Lovely gift shop with adorable items for purchase. A lot of gifts, beauty, health, cbd items and even clothing available. Coffee shop was located in the back with what looks like the cafe; coffee was mediocre sadly but did the job. I left with some cute clothes ranging $20-100 (items all vary in pricing of suck range)

Homemade goodness, just like mom wished she could make. Had the blackeyed pea and chicken soup. Man, what a treat! Apple cobbler with real ice cream. It was very good and worh the indulgence. Don't pass this place by, like we did so may times. A great place to take a break and enjoy a wholesome meal. Don't forget the wide assortment of coffee. It gives the big names a run for their money.

The Cottage is a rare find, definitely a must. Our group of four enjoyed the homemade hearty lunch very much. We've ordered tomato soup with tortellini, Philly Cheese Steak baked potato, strawberry cobbler and enjoyed every bite. Also, lattes were really great. Awesome place connected to a cute little store with handmade goods and crafts - a great way to kill the time while your meal is getting ready. Highly recommended place. I am so glad it was marked on my AppleMaps!

Traveling the Texas panhandle on US287 is an interesting route. Cotton country, canyon country, from the Oklahoma border to Wichita Falls there are small towns with history. A 'must-stop' location is The Cottage in Memphis. Awesome gifts and antiques. Amazing food. And the best people you could hope to meet. If it's on your way and the time is right, spend a little time here. You will be happy for the experience.
