Attended the Kidz gym level one class with my 3 year old today. The coach who teaches the 5-6pm is so unprofessional and has no patience with the kids! Not sure why she is still working there if she gets so overwhelmed and irritated. She pulled on my daughters arm 3 times (only times I was able to notice, not sure if she did it when I was not looking!) and was aggressively pulling on the other childrens arms who were not doing what they were supposed to. You can’t expect toddlers to listen to your every command. Will make sure my daughter is never placed with her ever again!

My daughter attended ASI for 10 months. It's definitely not worth the expense because the coaches work with each student independently for about a total of 5 minutes during the whole hour. However, I kept my daughter enrolled just so she could be active and involved in something. Fast forward to the summer, I've signed my daughter up for camps and soccer so I told them to drop her for the summer months. Due to this they would not allow her to finish her last session even though it was already paid for. They're just in it for the money which is really pathetic. She will not be returning due to this! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Just take your kiddos to a park for free if you want them to be active, or choose another sport but definitely not ASI.

Last spring brake week I sent my daughter there. It seemed like a nice place, well qualified and I saw many childcare providers. I felt safe leaving my daughter in their hands. On Friday she didn't want to go anymore, her dad trying to find out. what happened and after talking to her a lot, she told her that a girl named Jazmín, who is much bigger than her, hit her all week, spit on her and hit her private parts and told her not to say anything, my daughter told her anyway the people who took care of them but did nothing, they didn't inform us, they didn't send a report, how could this happen? how come they didn't notify us? This could have escalated further, I feel terrible as a mother trusting this place and sending my daughter to a place where she was mistreated for her entire week of vacation where she had to be safe and fun. I regret choosing this place. I recommend to the place that there is better care for children, that they select them by age, that they take charge of the situation because until now the manager has not shown us, we have called multiple times demanding an explanation, due to irresponsibility, think twice before your son enters this place he is not trustworthy enough he could have escalated to major they just told us that the girl hit other children (if that girl's mom reads this you should seek help for your daughter probably it is a future abuser and danger to society it is not normal for your daughter to hit other children for many days)

Took my son for a free trail 3/16 and literally was so embarrassed and sad my son left out of there crying , one of the coaches was rolling there eyes at my 3 year old son because he was very energetic and excited also because he wasn’t doing the moves correctly reminder this was his first time ever doing anything like this she was very rude and the other coach brought he to me in the middle of the class and said I’m sorry and walk off he didn’t even get to finish the class was suppose to be a 50min class and he only got to do 30 minutes this was our first time ever doing anything like this and he was heartbroken I reached out to talk to the manager and they keep telling me she wasn’t there or a different time she was coming in . If your kid is energetic or ADHD I wouldn’t recommend.

My son is brand new to gymnastics and athletic classes in general. He was so excited to be going to a gymnastics class and be with a coach and other kids. He was placed in a boys power tumbling bronze class. However, this turned out to not be the proper level for him; it was well beyond his abilities/skills. I tried speaking with 3 different staff about possibly moving him down a level. They each told me in different ways that this is the lowest level for his age. I asked each of them if he could move down with the 4 y.o.s - they each told me no. The next few days after the class, my son voiced that he didn’t enjoy the class and he did NOT want to go back. This was because he could not keep up with the other kids, nor preform any of the skills independently. The teacher/coach saw the same thing I did per her evaluation. She should then be able to refer him to a lower level class, no matter what the recommended age may be. Just like there are 5 year olds whom are skilled/talented enough to work with and keep up with 8 year olds; the opposite can be and is sometimes true as well. I’m disappointed that the gym would not work with me (and my son) to put him in a class where he could grow confidence and possibly a life long love of gymnastics.

Update (Dec 2022)The communication from the “corporate”office is what is causing me to update my review. I was in contact with a Brandy Drake about a scholarship that was “suppose” to be offered but seems that wasn’t the case. I was just given a run around, I did the original application earlier than needed and was told that it would open sometime between the end of Oct to the beginning of Nov only to be told later that it would open around the 1st of December and I would be sent a link. Only for Mrs. Drake to completely ghost me and stop corresponding to my emails. No to mention that I had to ask for letters of recommendations from coaches and teachers only for me to feel like I made them waste their time. When I asked the girls as the front desk and other coaches in the gym they had no idea about the scholarship where it could be found on the website or anything and told me to reach out to the “corporate” office. I informed them that I did and when they went to look for themselves that the scholarship indeed closed in mid Nov and not Dec like I was told by Mrs. Drake. (Mind you I have all the emails ?)The fact that my daughter has been coming here for almost 4 years and the one time I reach out for help I get this type of service. DO BETTER!!!——————————————————————————My daughter has been coming since she was about 2yo and she is now 4yo she loves it. The staff is very friendly and patient with the kids!! I love that all the staff get to know your child and can see their progress and encourages more growth even those who are not their coaches!!Coach John help my daughter in so many ways and she absolutely adores him. We recently had her 4th Birthday Party here and the staff went above and beyond with setting up and arranging everything for me which was really nice. We will definitely always come here if in the area or find another ASI!Forgot to mention that they offer Summer and Holiday Break Camps for the kids and for date nights they have PNO (parents night out) where you can have a few hours to yourself in the evening every so often (monthly-I believe)..!!

The frustrating part was that there was just one worker for all the children at the birthday party 10/9. Rather than a gymnastics experience...it was more like open gym. Not sure it's worth the cost.

This place is a complete joke!!!Kids running everywhere with no direction coaches talking to each other more then anything which was confusing this is more of a day care then a actual gym about 12 teens just standing by the front desk doing nothing but talking which was very confusing.I didn’t see one skill completed by any child.Gym hasn’t changed in 30 years which is disgusting and quite sad I went to this gymAs a child and they have the exact same equipment minus a the long tumbling trampoline.Disgusting smell. If you just want a place for your child to catch staff infection and run around as you watch with no results this is the perfect place for you!If you actually want training go to a real gym.Not sure why anyone would send a child here unless you want them to be recreationalThe gym should be given away to a different company or owner who actually cares to teach not just collect money all the 5star reviews must be from parents who accept that the child will never learn anything here and don’t care which is odd because it’s not free they can run around at the park very strange place

I love the Tiny Tots classes for my little one. Our instructor is so patient and doesn't get frustrated when they don't follow directions. The only thing I would change is them having auto-reminder emails or texts and the ability to cancel a class online. I've missed every make up session.

We had my daughter Emma's 6th birthday at ASI today. Coach Jon was amazing with the kids! He kept them engaged and having fun the whole time. This was definitely one of the best parties we've had here.

Both my boys (4 & 6) go here. The coaches are so patient. They build skills and strength while making it fun. This also builds confidence. I asked my 6-year old what he liked doing there the most, and he said, “Everything!”

Yesterday on 2/09/2022 I took both my sons of age 4 and 5 years old to their 5:00pm Wednesday class. There was a new instructor for my 5 year old son Aaron. Aaron is a special child and does not do good with change. The young lady that was initially at the check in front desk named "BRI" went above and beyond to accommodate this change for my son Aaron. Aaron got quickly attached with BRI as she was walking him to his new instructor but Aaron was reluctant to make this an easy process, he would not let go of BRI'S hand. Thankfully BRI offered to stay with Aaron until he felt comfortable. As a mother with a special child I cannot express how thankful I am for ASI to have employees like BRI. What could have been a difficult time for me and my son turned out to be an amazing experience. THANK YOU ASI for the employees you have working and representing you as an institution. KUDDOS TO MESQUITE ASI TEAM!

Absolutely wonderful. This was our first birthday party since the pandemic started, and the staff made it so fun and memorable. It was amazing to see our kids having a great time again. Thanks so much to ASI Mesquite for the great party!
