You might as well consider this bank no different than PLS Check Cashing. Horrible customer service in this review is coming from somebody that has ever 20 accounts at five other banks.PNC is an absolute scammy and predatorily check cashing for 2% for “non customers” but cashing one of their own customers checks. So they charged me $60 for a $3000 check. I understand banks are for profit, need to make money but you have 15 branches and you have one branch opened on a Saturday, forcing all customers to drive as much as an hour, away from other logistical locations. This type of activity is a huge red flag for a financial institution to have to price gouge people to do a basic transaction that’s written on the chat guaranteed by their bank. I would hate to be an actual customer of theirs and see the kind of hidden fees. They’re price gouging their clientele.Beware beware beware!!!!Literally, setting up shop in blue collar neighbor hoods preying on the less fortunateDo not do business with BBVA and PNCBeware beware beware!!!!Beware beware beware!!!!I also warned the teller I’d be leaving the review and he said he didn’t care.

I have tried calling repeatedly about applying for a mortgage loan and what benefits have vs other lenders… I have left my name and number to get a call back several times. I was tired of being ignored, I went to the location and still couldn’t be seen but left my name/number AGIAIN per the tellers request and still NO CALL BACK. With the serious issues in the banking world right now, I am seriously considering moving banks because it is a great concern to me that you 1. Don’t care to help your members 2. A total lack of any desire to conduct business 3. You are holding my money and can’t even do the simple task of answering the phone or making a phone call.

Went to open an account, we opened the account then went over to the teller to deposit a check and the bank manager Kimberly Davis said the check doesn’t look real and wrote the word void on my check, I felt so bad and embarrassed because we were in the lobby of the bank in front of people. So after leaving I got on the phone with the people who gave me the check, they talked with the bank and in about 30 minutes the bank was calling me to come back to the bank and that everything is fine. We went back to finish the deposit but i still feel awful . I will be closing my account

It's no longer Compass Bank it's now PNC. Have an issue and want the best customer service go to Selene. She is the best branch manager if it wasn't for her my accounts would have been closed, but because she is so attentive I have stayed loyal to this bank even after it got bought out.

I read some of the reviews and I must say that the transition to PNC was handled very poorly by PNC. The branch staff were misinformed and utterly unprepared to deal with all the issues. The phone assistance required hours of on telephone wait listening to the same song throughout and which has not been changed according to their staff in years!It consumed way too much of my time to manage my personal and business accounts and gain online access (approximately a month and a half in total), but I felt that the staff at this branch have always tried their best. The front desk person triaging the incoming customers really helps and her smile and attitude makes up for the frustration.I have found the services after transition to PNC to be as good as BBVA.

3.5 weeks after BBVA closed and reopened as PNC, we still have no access to our business accounts through online banking. Bank says that they’re working on it but nothing has changed. Deposits take 24 hours to post. Can’t get through to customer service so have to go into a branch to get a balance check or other info. Not pleased with Mesquite Branch and PNC as a whole. I closed my personal accounts and looking to switch business accounts to a better bank that admits when they’ve made mistakes/inconvenienced their customers and doesn’t make excuses.
