Purchased fajita nortena meat from the market and the cuts were horrible. Pieces were all small, seemed like I got a bag full of extra pieces. No big steak size to place on my grill. Beware if you buy meat at Rio Grande. The quality is horrible.

It's a scam, buy a tres leches cake and it comes very dry. For the price they should do it well. What a disappointment

I like the store but I didn't like the people work at the meat section they have to be more friendly and gentle speciali a lady would like to have her name but I can't she was very unprofessional doing her job ,I have an inconvenience one day and I was ok nothing happen but today I saw her again at the meat section and I was ok no problem but I know she remembers me when I asked her for some 8 chicken drumsticks she get me 4 and said thank have I good night and gone. When I realized that it's just 4 chicken drumsticks I was like not again I don't want to deal with her again so i get in line again and wait my turn to ask for more chicken. Please Rio Grande ask your workers be more professional and nice.

Apparently some employees there don't know what their job is. That place has incompetent cashiers and managers. I went to return some rotten cheese that I had just bought the day before. The manager gave me store credit and told me when I paid for what I brought, show this receipt to the cashier so they can deduct the cheese. I went to grab another cheese and in the dairy aisle there is a 20-can coke palette with a price of 9.99 and I took one. When I scan it on the screen it says 12.99 I tell the “manager” can you help me with this please, she says they are on sale for 9.99 but here they go for 12.99 and she tells me; No, I think it's only if you have 2, I tell you there it doesn't say anything, it's just the price with big numbers. He didn't say anything to me, he left. I assumed he went to check the price and never came back. I tell the cashier, can you help me please? And he tells me that I don't know what to do because the price is 12.99 not 9.99. I went to take a photo of the cokes and when I came back the cokes that I was going to buy had been erased from the screen and taken away from there. I just took a deep breath and told him what about my cokes? And I showed him the photo. The manager comes back to tell me that someone left those cokes there in the wrong place, but it wasn't one box or two, it was a complete pallet. The only thing I told you is wrong, and you should respect the price because it's not my fault, it's your fault. I'm not here to ask for anything for free, but if it had been someone else I would throw my tantrum but for 3 dollars it wouldn't make any sense. It just bothered me that neither of them knew how to do their job and accept that in that case the client was right.

I have bought Tres leches from here multiple times, but something has changed. Bought round vanilla Tres leches yesterday and it was dry, there was no leches on the cake. Frosting flavor also is different from what it used to be. not worth it for $27.99

I often shop at El Rio for our meat without complaint but this time I was disappointed. I bought a few pounds of pork cut and seasoned “Al Pastor” style and the beef cut for “Tacos”. My family had never complained before but this time we all thought there was a greater amount of tiny meat pieces almost like a chorizo and/or ground beef.
